This is going to be my first official entry, which is pretty ironic, as today is my final day of training before I become a REAL passenger pigeon!! These Persian people are the first to train birds like me to carry messages. Want me to tell you what I've learned? Okay, here I go! So, the sender, the person at the very beginning, the person sending the messages, puts his thoughts into words on the paper: my trainer called it...encoding! That's it! Then-and this is my part!! Then, the message is transmitted by....ME!!! It's tied to my leg, and I fly it to the receiver of the message, the person to whom it is addressed. When they read it, they kinda...decode it back into thoughts from the words it was before. Then, the destination has finally been reached! The person has gotten the message, and it is now in their brain forever and ever! Wow, it sounds SO COOL when I say it like that! This is going to be so much fun; I can't wait! Okay, I have to go now. Wish me luck!!!
