Chapter 6

The rest of the day was amazing I had a few wipe puts but so did everyone else I've never had that much fun before in my life.

" You were great today " Hayden says as we drive from the beach.

" Really? " I say looking to him smiling.

" Yeah "

" I had a lot of fun, thanks " I look out the window as I see the beach in the mirror.

" What'd you think of my crew?" he says making conversation.

" There all great and super fun " I say wiping sand off my knee. I was telling the truth his friends were awesome and kind and fun.

" Good " he smiles. " I think Matt likes you " he says giggling.

" Oh yeah what makes you say that " I say giving him a funny puzzling look.

" Are you serious any guy who looks at you likes you and know that you can surf wuh" he says laughing again. Any guy. Yeah right.

" Aw your to sweet " I say patting his knee he looks down at my hand as I pull away. Awkward. I blush.

The rest of the ride is silent we get home and I jump into the shower to wash the sand off of me and out of me. I laugh.

Knock knock

" Yeah come in " I shout from the shower.

I hear the door open. I'm guessing Hayden walked in.

" I just wanted to get something sorry " he say opening a cabinet.

" Your fine " I say washing the soap of of me.

" Kris?" he says quietly I'm almost unable to hear him.

" yeah?" I ask about to turn the shower off.

" Can we talk? " again in a weak voice.

" Right now? " I say behind the curtain waiting for him to leave.

" We'll when you out " he says walking out.

I get out dry off and head for my room wrapped a towel. I walk in to my room to get dressed.

" Hey Kris " I hear from the corner of my room in a chair I turn around.

" Ally?!" I look at her In raged.

" Hayden what is she doing in here " I say as he walks in pointing at her as my towel drops to the floor.

" Crap " I drop to the floor throwing the towel over me.

Hayden clears his throat and his face gets red.

" Nice ass Krissy " I hated when she called me that I was so mad she was here.

I feel my face get so hot and red. I squeeze my eyes shut hoping they would vanish.

" Get out " I say in the scariest calm but stern voice.

" Whatever " Ally says swishing her ass around as she glides out of my room I sit on the floor towel draped over me and my head on my knees.

" I'm sorry she just kinda... " he begin not once looking at me but I interrupted him.

" Get out! " this time yelling acting like a teenager.

He walks out shutting the door behind him.

Seeing her again brings back all the old feelings the way Jared broke my heart along with my best friend doing the same. I felt the tears threaten to spill over. And they did. They weren't worth my tears any more I stood up throw in a big pj shirt and some running shorts and places my hand on the door knob. I needed to face them. I needed this off my chest.

I turned the nob pulling open the door. I saw Ally sitting on the kitchen counter bitching away while Hayden was fixing some food.

" Hey " Hayden says looking up not using me in the door way.

" Can we talk? " Ally asks hopping off the counter.

Ally was the kinda girl who wanted all the guys to want her. And she could never own up to anything she did. Never ever took responsibility.

" Look It wasn't what it looked like " she started and rage flew over me. She thinks I'm stupid. That they weren't really making out and rubbing there hands all over each other.

" Bull " I shout clenching my fists.

" Kris " Hayden says giving a worried look trying to calm down.

" He was all over me and said he loved me and that he was going to leave you and I had, had a few drinks and... " I can't even listen to this anymore I raise my hand and plant a hard smack on her face.

" Ow " she says grabbing her face. That didn't make me feel better I just stare at her anger almost at it's peak.

"What was that for? " she says then taking a step back looking down knowing exactly what it was for.

" I'm going to go " she says heading for the door.

She gets to the for turns the knob and looks back at me.

" You know your still my best friend " she gives a sad smile and walks out the door.
