Too close

Chapter 4

Hayden let's my borrow a black shirt some grey sweat pants all big and Baggie but I love them. I but on a pair of his flip flops and we walk out side to his car.

" Thank you " I say as we get settled in the car because honestly I couldn't thank him enough. For being such a great friend.

"It's no prob" he smiles and we take of to my house which takes 5 minutes. I am really hoping he's not here and I don't think he will be because he's working today. He pulls into the drive way and I don't see his car. I exhale deeply relieved.

"You ready?" he asks looking over at me with encouragement.

I just nod as I unbuckle and slowly get out of the car. I walk up to the house keys in hand and unlock the front door and walk in. I turn on some lights and Hayden follows me to my old room. I grab some bags and ask Hayden to fill one up with the clothes in my dresser.

I go to the barroom with a bag and fill it with my hair care stuff straighteners curlers, makeup, and any thing else belonging to me.

" Hey do you want this?" He says as I walk back on to the room with my bag packed up. I see him holding the Greggerstown High School 2013 Cutest Couple Award. I nod my head but I can help what happens next. The tears just fall from my eyes.

"Shhh it's ok" he was tuning over to me wrapping an arm around me and sitting me on my old bed.

I just can't even talk I just silently sob in his arms. I hear something from outside the room though the front door shutting. "Crap he's here" I whisper in his ear.

" That's ok let's just grab the rest of your stuff and go" I grab another bag to pack up my shoes and jewelry and whatever else I had and we grabbed a of my stuff and snuck out of my old room.

I looked around I didn't see him we make a break for the door I see his car out the window though.

"Kris you came back" a sad voice coming from the kitchen said.

"Yeah to get my stuff" I say now that in caught I might as we'll talk to him about this.

"Why?"

"Because you cheated on me and I'm leaving!" I yell at him as he walks closer to me.

"It was a big misunderstanding" he says trying to grab my hand but I pull away from him taking a step back.

"Look what we have here your new boyfriends here" he says getting closer as I get closer to Hayden.

"Look dude just calm down" Hayden says stepping between me and Jared.

"I'm not your dude" he says pushing his chest.

"Hey take it easy" Hayden says stepping back.

"Don't tell me to take it easy when your all over MY girl" he says loud and angry.

"I'm not I just being a good friend, come on Kris let's go" Hayden says as he turns around and walking towards the door. I grab my bags and walk with him.

"No!" Jared yells running up to Hayden and pushing him to the ground.

"Your not taking her from me!" he yes as Hayden gets back up moving closer to Jared.

"She's not yours any more dude" Hayden says only inches from Jared's face.

"Yes she is!" He yells pouncing on Hayden tackling him at the wast pining him to the ground.

"Go out the the car Kris!" Hayden yells as he frees a hand and punches Jared square in the face nocking him off. Hayden scrambles to his feet to walk to the door but Jared grabs his ankle and pulls him down. Jared gets back on top of him and starts punching his face. I can't take it any more I throw my bags to the floor and jumping on to Jared pushing him off of Hayden.

"Don't touch him" I yell beating my hands on his chest. He just smiles as I'm sitting on top of him.

"What's funny!?!?!" I yell smacking him. I just puts his hands on my thighs and rubs them.

"Don't touch me!" I yell before punching him in the face as hard as I could.

Hayden lifts me off of Jared and I grab my stuff and we leave. I get in to my car and follow him to his place I softly cry until we get there. I wipe my tears and get my self together. Hayden gets out of his car slamming the door. He looks mad.

I grab the stuff out if my car and walk to him sitting in the front step of his house.

"I'm sorry" I say putting my hand on his hand.

"For what?" he says looking over at me. Relieving his purple and blue shiner.

"Aw no" I say grabbing his face getting abetter look.

"For that" I say making a pouty face. I can believe Jared did that I can't believe a lot of this stuff.

"You didn't do it " he says smirking at me.

"But it's my fault" I say looking down.

"That's bull" he says smiling tame lifting my chin so that I will look at him.

"Come on let's get your stuff in the house"he says standing up giving me a hand I take it and he grabs the rest from his car and I walk in to my new room and start unpacking. He walks in latter with two bags. I fold up my shirts and put them in the draws I smile at him as he sets it next to me and sits on my bed.

"You know there's only one bathroom in here" he says laughing.

"And you got a lot of stuff" he smiles with his hole face except his one eye which was swollen.

"Do you have any frozen peas?" I ask walking towards him. Taking a closer look to his face.

"Frozen peas??" he smiles up at me.

"Yeah for that shiner" I say grabbing his face again.

"I'm sure there something in the freezer" I walk out of my room and in to the kitchen I open the freezer there's like nothing in here. But I do find in the back a bag of frozen corn that looks super old.

"You have corn" I yell walking back into my room he hasn't moved.

"I have corn?" he asks surprised. I laugh a little a place it on his eye.

"Uh that's cold" he says as he begins to hold it for him self and just lays back on my bed as I unpack the rest of my stuff.

"You want yo go do something today?" I ask sitting next to him cris cross.

"Yeah what do you want to do?" he asks taking the bag of corn off his face.

"Want to go see a movie?"

"Yeah, what?"

"I don't know let's just go and see what's showing" I say smiling and standing up.
