The black car pulled up to Falkland Orphanage at 8pm.

Monica Dunville was pacing in her office. She had heard about Eve's situation; being purchased and then stolen by her purchaser. She had even sent people out looking for her, hoping the girl would turn up at one of her old hangouts, but they'd all come up short.

Now, her beguiled owners had come to collect.

Rhea and Lacey escorted the men into her office, and she did her best to appear to be in control.

"Have a seat please gentlemen." She offered. Neither sat.

"Well now, I don't see why this is coming back to me-" She scoffed, but was quickly cut off.

"You know exactly why. We had a deal." Mr. Seville reminded her. "A girl with no connections, isn't that right? She had a cell phone when she arrived, Monica, which instigated a theft that left a security agent out cold."

"I had no idea. She only had one friend... and a.. a-" Dunville didnt want to fess up to knowing about Harry Styles. He was a powerful man, and if he had anything to do with this, she didn't want to be responsible for it.

"A what?"

"An employer. Temporary. Nothing to worry about." She denied.

"Doesn't matter now does it!" The second man raised his voice impatiently. Dunville had never met him, but he was younger, early thirties, very handsome. "She got away, and now we have to do something about it."

"We want our money back for her." Randy said bluntly

"It doesn't work like that."

"Yes it does." He stared at her, unwavering. "The deal was, we pay you one hundred thousand for a girl with no attachments. And you receive 3% of her earnings until she is 21. But, you demanded 5%... isn't that right?"

Dunville knew he was right. Eve was a rare beauty, it would've been foolish not to ask for more. In the final moments of their 'transaction', Dunville had upped her cut to 5%, and Randy had been forced to agree.

"Yes that's correct. But it's not my fault you lost-"

"Wrong again, Monica. You said she was unattached, but that wasn't true. Her cell phone is proof. She was obviously trying to contact someone... this Styles character, no doubt."

Monica's fears were confirmed.

"I don't have the money." She admitted. "I have 10,000, the first 5%, and that's it." Monica went to the desk and pulled out the envelope. Randy snapped it up and took a look inside.

"Consider this your warning. We want the rest." Seville dramatically put his hand in his pants pocket, flashing his concealed piece in the process. "Trust, we will be back for it."

The short man exited quickly, but the handsome one stared at her, eyes devoid of humor. He was dangerous, clearly short tempered and not one she wanted to cross.

Dunville knew the money was long gone, and it would be two years before the next girl would be the legal age for selling. That left her with one option: to find Eve and right this wrong before it bit her in the ass any further.

**

It took extra effort to fall asleep that night.

For Harry, his thoughts were torn by temptation. His mind told him that being friends was the smart thing to do, but yet every time they were alone together he felt their connection grow just a little bit more, strand by strand.

And he knew she felt it too, the magnetic pull, he'd seen it on the couch, in the car...

She wants me, but she's holding back for reasons I had yet to discover. Whatever was going through her mind in those moments of trepidation, I knew they were influenced by fear, and that would never do.
