A life changing moment

When I answered phone the phone JJ said I had gotten the job and report to the BAU tomorrow for my gun and badge. After I hung up I cheered and went to my kitchen and cracked open a bottle of wine and watched a movie with my cat Sergio. I fell asleep half way through the movie and woke up in the morning went to my closet and got a nice dress shirt, a nice pair of dress pants, and my favorite pair of boots. I pulled my hair back into a nice pony tail, leaving my bangs fall to the left and then went to the kitchen,fed my Sergio, and made myself a piece of toast. I had left in my corvette and headed to my new job to get my badge and gun. I ran into JJ and she said " welcome to the team, I will have Derek train you with the gun'' " Yes," I exclaimed " he is hot, I mean, I mean what." JJ told me its ok by the way stay away from Reid he is mine. " ok, I will" I answered a little worried. She just started laughing " I'm kidding, you should have seen your face that was funny." What was funny" a voice behind me asked. I turned around and saw Derek standing there."Are you ready to learn how to shoot a gun like me" he asked. " Sure I'm ready what about you are you sure you can handle me" I replied. He just laughed and said "let's get you your gun so you can go on your first case with us. We got down to the shooting range, which was in the basement because it is to dangerous to have up stairs. He showed me how he shot and then told me to take a couple of shots I missed one but hit 2 in the head and 3 in the mid stomach." Wow you have a nice shot doesn't look like I need to teach you this'' he said. " Hey not that this is work related or anything but would you like to go to dinner sometime go to a nice restaurant and have dessert" I asked. " Sure sounds like fun how about next Friday and what kind of dessert are we talking about" he answered " its up to you 😉" I replied. Then Hotch came down and asked how the shooting was going. Derek replied " she is amazing" " Emily can you plez show me" Hotch asked l." Sure why not" I responed. I shot the same shot as before and he licensed me my gun and badge. " I will show you your desk now and then we are all meeting in the round table room, Morgan go gather everyone else and meet us in there" he gave his orders and we where off. He also told me about how I had to have a to go bag ready. So I met everyone in the room and we introduced each other again. Then Derek walked me to my car so and we talked about how we were going to get dinner. Then when we got to my car he exclaimed "nice car. what year is it?" I replied " 2014". we both said goodnight and almost kissed but then stupid me I interrupted and said I have to go.When I got into the car I was thinking to myself "why did I do that, that was soo stupid." When I got home I was so tired I just pasted out and then Hotch called and said we have a case and to be there by 8:30 am the next moring.
