I slowly opened my eyelids as I saw the bright light coming from the tour bus. That’s right… tour bus.
I was on tour with One Direction! That’s right, the hot british boy band that everyone loves? Yeah, that one.
Anyway, as much as I wish I was there opening act… I wasn’t. I was their manager, Paul’s, daughter. Let’s just say he doesn’t trust me to have the house to myself for 6 months… so poof! I’m on tour. I have been on tour with them for about 2 months now.
We went over another huge speed bump and I turned my head to see Niall had woken up too. He looked at me and smiled, showing his cute braces.
The car pulled to a stop as my dad said something to the driver.
“I’ll be like 10 minutes. I just need to get some gas and make a phone call.” He said all professional like. Man, I loved my old man.
But right now, I wanted to get off this bus more than anything! I had been in here for way too long.
I looked at Niall and then at the rest of the boys. They were all asleep.
“Hey Niall…” I whispered so the bus driver wouldn’t hear us.
“Yeah?” he mumbled with his eyes still closed burying his head into his pillow
“You wanna go into the gas shop to get some food?” He immediately popped up at the word food.
“YES! But how do we get out without your dad seeing us?”
Poop…didn’t think about that one…
“OH I know.” I said, “Follow me.”
We both walked up the stairs to the second level and opened the top sun roof very slowly so my dad wouldn’t hear us. We climbed out of the small opening and climbed down the latter on the side of the bus.
We quietly ran past my dad into the store with my money in hand. We entered the store and went to the back where the snacks were.
I laid my eye on a bad of sour cream and onion chips, but my eyes were averted away when Niall grabbed me by the arm and pulled me down behind the isle.
“What are you…” I started, but I never got to finish my sentence before Niall kissed me.
All thoughts in my head just left as I enjoyed this most special moment. I was kissing the one boy I have had a crush on, and knew I would probably never get.
His lips where soft and tender as we kissed in perfect sync like we were meant to be together.
He pulled out and said, “I have been wanting to do that for a long time.” Was all he said.
I just stood there smiling like an idiot before I remembered… the bus…
“OH MY GOD, Niall the bus!” I screamed as I popped my head over the isle and looked out the window to see my dad getting back in the bus turning the engine on.
“RUN!” he screamed as we bolted out the door empty handed trying to stop the bus, but by the time we were out the door, the bus was already back on the road.
Niall sighed, “Well, looks like we will be getting a talk from Uncle Paulie.”
I laughed, but I couldn’t care less how much trouble I would get in for this… it was totally worth it.
