Kidnapped || Unexpected Turns

Chapter 1

Serena's POV

"What are you doing tonight?" I asked my best friend Andrea over the phone.
"Nothing really," she replied.
"Wanna come over?" I asked in excitement knowing it would be so fun.
"Wait I'll ask my mum," she said whilst turning over and asking her mum. Andrea was my best friend since we were in 7th grade; the first year of high school. Now we are both 17 and in our last year of high school. I still can't believe I've been friends with this flop for
6 YEARS. 6 FLIPPING YEARS.

"Oh my god! I'm coming over and...... my mum said I can stay for the night!" She squealed so hard, I felt as if my ears were bleeding.
"Oww my ears," I said while rubbing my ears."Oh my god, you know what that means right..."
"SLEEPOVER!" We both squealed at the same time. I don't think we will ever get older.
"Ok I'm gonna pack now, Do you want me to bring anything in particular?" She asked.
"Ooooh can you bring me some sweet chilli chips?" I asked. Sweet Chilli Chips are to die for, they are soo good. Well some people think they are weird but I love sweet chilli, probably because I'm Indian and Indians eat a lot of spice.
"Ok I will bring them, be there in 15 minutes." She said and we both said bye and cut the call.

I was setting up the pillows, getting the snacks and movies ready for when Andrea comes, we were gonna stay up all night. I really can't wait for this sleepover because I never get to have one. I only have sleepovers with my cousins so I was so excited. I quickly finished up the bed and put the last pillows. I walked into the kitchen and got the snacks ready and finished up. I washed my hands and then...
'DING DONG' The house bell rang. I wiped my hands on the towel and went to go open the door.

"Hiiiiii" I squealed very loudly. Thank god none of my family was at home, My parents went on a business trip to L.A and my older brother went to his best friends house to have a sleepover, if they were here they'd probably have a heart attack just from the squeals we do.
"Hey!" She squealed back whilst coming inside. She took her shoes off and hugged me. I snatched the sweet chilli chips out of her hand and ran towards the living room while she was running after me. She finally caught me and we had a tickle off but I was the one who was getting tickled due to her not being ticklish, she was literally crying from laughter when she finished tickling me.

We sat on the couch which I had set up with pillows, snacks and drinks.
"Did you have dinner before coming?" I asked her hoping she didn't so we can have pizza.
"Nope, I actually didn't." She replied.
"Ok let's have Pizza then, I'll order right now!" I said whilst getting my phone and dialled the number. I ordered two pepperoni pizzas and some hot chips. The guy over the phone said that it would be here in half an hour so me and Andrea can play a game of Ludo while we're waiting.

I got my iPad out and put the game of Ludo on. Ludo was probably the most played game in all the games I have played especially cause me and my cousins play a lot against each other. We play so much, that sometimes we don't even notice the time and we literally stay up until 5 am.

We played for at least 25 minutes until the doorbell rang and the pizza guy was here with our pizzas. I went to go open the door and the guy asked "Two pepperoni pizzas for Serena?" while he was looking at the bill. He handed me the bill and the pizzas and I walked over to the kitchen and got some money out of the jar inside of the cupboard. I walked back and handed him the money. I closed the door and walked back to the kitchen so I could get two plates and one of the pizza boxes. I walked over to the couch and put the pizza on the table. I took a slice and handed Andrea one. We both started to eat and gossip about school.

I put mine and Andrea's plates in the sink; we both washed up and walked over to the tv cabinet where all the movies were. We were debating either to watch a horror or a comedy but I won and we watched a horror movie called 'Hush'. I turned the lights off and the little lamp in the corner on. There was a dim light so I could see the snacks on the table.

We were half way in the movie and I heard the door bell ring again and I wondered who that could be, as the pizzas were already here. I looked towards Andrea and saw that she was literally hugging a pillow from how scared she was. I laughed and threw a pillow at her.

The doorbell rang again and I got up and walked towards the door "Who is it?" I shout slowly clutching the handle. I looked through the window on the right and my mouth literally fell to the floor. "Andrea?!?" I said in a slow tone trying to hint that something was wrong.
"Yeaaa" she replied, looking at me confused.
I gestured with my right hand for her to come towards the window and she did. When she saw him she literally had the same reaction as me. It was raining outside and all I could see was him standing right there in front of us drenching wet.
