The caressing touch
Of my loved one just lingering in my skin
For days
The dilation of my pupils from just looking at you
The butterflies fluttering in my stomach
just by looking at you.
Oh how beautiful it must to be with one with another!
I wonder if it will be the same for me
When I meet the one
Will he feel the same the way I do
If so I'll be blessed
A part of me will be complete
A new me will come
And an old part will leave
Balancing out the scale
I hope it comes with the right timing
With the right person
Because I rather endure an infinite amount of time alone waiting for the good guy to come
Than just going to the "next best" and just waste my time and break my heart and wait for it to break but things will happen for a reason.
As much as I want companionship
I don't want to misguide myself and change myself for someone
No matter how compatible we could be
I would like to be completely honest and raw to someone than just putting a mask
