When Izuku got home he had a glimt of determination in his eyes that his mother hadn't seen before. "Izuku have something happened you seem so different?" she asked. He told her what had happened and when he was finished she told him "Izuku you know I always will believe in you and I think that All Might is stupid for turning someone like you down. I know you will live to do great things.""Thanks mom. I really appreciate it and I will make you proud." He responded. "There is something I need to do. when is dinner?""I will start making dinner now and remember I will always be proud of you." she said as Izuku entered his room, taking of the All Might themed sign hanging on it.
When Izuku entered his room there was only way to describe the current state of it was All Might. The only things not All Might themed in the room was his bed, desk, computer and several school suplies. Everything else, All Might. Posters, toys, bedsheets, carpets, lamps and every colectible ever was All might themed. Over 10 years of work and collecting was about to be thrown out the window, literally. He set to work calmly taking down posters, paking the toys in bags, along with various collectibles. All of it whent straight out the window as soon as it was taken down. "This is the start of the new me." Izuku mutters to himself while looking on his now almost barren bedroom.
The next day Izuku looked over Dagobah Municipal Beach Park inspecting the work he had ahead of him. 'Even if I don't pass the exam I can help some people by cleaning this beach. It used to look so nice when I was little' he thought to himself before starting on his task that would be daunting to most people, but Izuku was fillied with a determination few could match. That would be the start of ten months of training hell.
For the next ten months Izuku had no free time to spare, at any point of the day he was either sleeping, eating, going to school, studying, cleaning the beach, working out, training in martial arts or working on his support equipment. It was tiresome and gruesome, but it did show results. He was progressing faster than he used to and it filled him with hope that he could acomplish his goals, it may be hard, but he would get there, bit by grueling bit. The first bit would be to clean up the beach, which happened after 8 months.
At the crack of dawn, on a sunday morning, after a night of hard work Izuku stood on top of the last garbage ready to be hauled away. A victorius yell could be heard across the beach, if anyone was there to hear it, which it was. A skinny and skeleton like man with blonde hair was staring with awe on the feat achieved in front of his eyes. "Oh my goodness! That kid has drive I'll give him that. When I first saw him trying to clean the beach I never thought he would follow through, but he surpassed my expectations and beyond. If power was given acording to will and determination I would be scared of him, but that is not how the world works. I can't give my quirk to someone who not only holds a grudge, but has not yet shown the heroic spirit I'm looking for." The old man sighed befor turning around so he could go back to his apartment "I need to get back so I can pick up my-""Hey are you lost? You seemed to be thinking about something."
The frail man turned back to see Izuku standing there with a qurious look. "Wait, have you been here before? I think I have seen you around here for the last few months?" He asked. "Yes young uuh?" "Midoriya, Izuku Midoriya" the young boy responded. "All right young Midoriya. Yes I've been here and seen your impressive work, it was about time someone cleaned that beach. May I ask why though?" "Yes of course. I cleaned this beach as a part of my training to become a hero. By the way what is your name? I feel like I have heard your voice somewhere before." Suddenly the skeleton of a man coughed up blood before answering the younger boys question. "I'm Toshinori Yagi. I have been on a few radio shows, maybe you remember my voice from that. Also keep working on your dream. If you keep going the way you are now I'm sure you could achieve something great!" "Thank Yagi, it means alot. Well I have to get home now, it was a hard night with work. Goodbye!" "Goodbye young midoriya! And good luck." 'With your handicap you will need to work much harder than anyone else, but I still think you should take another career choice.' The older man thought to himself before walking to his apartment, ready for another day of work.
Due to being finished with clearing the beach Izuku had more time to work on his equipment and work out. He decided to take upon a project he hadn't had time to work on before, an exosceleton, it probably would compensate for a low to middle level strength enhancer quirk. The biggest problem he have had is the size, since it was quite bulky and would slow him down, but he would find a way around it. Meanwhile he looked over his other equipment and what needed to be improved. The multi purpose staff had most features done, it could extend and retract, it could be split into two rods for different fighting styles, the ends could flaten out and act as nsupport beams, it could be turned into a spear, but the electricity charge still needed work. Most of the bombs was finished like the regular small explosion, the smoke screen, flashbang, sound grenade, concussion mine and bombs with capture foam that needed to be stronger. There also was a stun gun with not much to it right now. Lastly he looked over his omnidirectional gear (the one from attack on titan without the blades). "I need to train more with this, right now I'm just a flailing mess." he said quietly to himself. "Izuku! Dinner is ready!" his mother yelled from upstairs "Coming!" he yelled back before turning of the lights and running to a nice meal.
