CHAPTER 1

PETE’S POV

“I can’t hear you, LOUDER!! Is that all what you’ve got!”

A load roar echoes in the entire Engineering gymnasium. Sotus is currently being conducted inside. every start of the school year, the engineering students always held this kind of hazing for the freshmen. I don’t know the reason though, they were just like this.

Well, I didn’t came here to seek a reason anyway. I came all the way here just to witness and have a look at someone.

“Recite the Engineering Cheer once again. Louder!”

I can’t help but to smile with much adoration. His baritone voice that echoing in the whole place, his fierce stare, his intimidating aura, I really can’t help but to look at it once a day.

AT THE SOCCER FIELD

“Hey.. hey.. hey pass it on him on him..”

“Get the ball.. faster..”

“Shoot it! Got it!”

He is laughing and smiling like it was the most worthy to play at. He really do his best on every thing he does. Why is he so perfect??

I can’t really help but to smile. I can’t even take my eyes off of him. It seems like all movements he does can’t escape from eyes.

What am I doing right now?? I really look like a freaking stalker here. I bowed my head and cover my face with my hands. I feel like my cheeks are burning right now.

“Hey Pete!”

Someone suddenly appeared from the back and jumped at me.

“Shia!!” my eyes widened in shock and turned to that person.

“Ai’Can!! Don’t do it again. It nearly gave me a heart attack!”

He just snorted and sat beside me. “Tsk, if it was only about heart attack, I will get it sooner than you. What are you doing again here huh??”

I sighed and looked at the field again. “Do I still have to say it?? It was pretty obvious already.”

“Hahaha yes! You are here again because of your Prince Charming. Hahaha Prince charming that doesn’t even know that you existed.” Can laughed so hard.

“You are not a supportive friend really!” I looked at him sharply and pinched his cheeks so hard.

“Hey, hey, that was my precious cuteness. Let go off it! Ow ow!!”

I continued pinching so I didn’t notice that a ball was flying our way.

“Hey Students!! Watch out!!!”

We’re startled by the shout and it is already too late for us to dock now. The ball is already near us!

Luckily Can was more alert than I was so he managed to put my head down.

“Whew, that was close!” Can uttered. I think my breath was left hanging.

“Hey, you guys okay?” a guy approached towards our direction and stopped in front of us.

Can stand up immediately and looked at the guy annoyed and began to stormed out. “Really?? You were asking us that?? Was that your shitty ball?? What do you think will happened  if that freaking ball hit us, huh?? That ball will cause us bleed on our noses! And what if not only a blood on our nose huh?? Do you have the balls to take responsibility if we got injured really bad and died from blood cloth??”

The other guy threw him a bored and annoyed look.

“what the heck are you talking about?? I am already asking if you guys are fine, am I not? And what’s with blabbering, you guys weren’t even hit I think. And last, it was also part your fault, we were practicing by kicking ball here, you guys are the one who stupidly sat here without presence of mind.”
