Sleep (Sci x Blue)

Whoopty doo- it's 2:34 am and I don't know where I'm going with this- and I forgot who requested this am sorry

Blue gave a couple knocks on the door to Sci's lab. He thought he could maybe help Sci with whatever work needed to be done today- he bets it could somehow give him a higher chance at scoring a position at the Royal Guard. It took a while for someone to answer, but it eventually slid open, revealing a confused Sci. "Swap? You didn't say you were coming over today..." Sci said, his tone somewhat annoyed. He hasn't really had any proper sleep in the last couple of days. "I.. did? I sent a voicemail to you a couple of days ago saying I would visit today.. Also, I thought I told you to call me Blue.." Blue replied, mumbling the last part.

Sci let out a sigh. "I'm sorry, Swap.. I've just been a bit busy with stuff the past couple of days.. I must've not checked it." Sci said as stepped aside to let Blue in. "I hope you won't mind me working on a couple things while you're here.." Sci added, his voice seeming tired now. Blue gave Sci a grin before walking in. "Maybe I can help you with the things you need to do! You won't have to work as much if so.." Blue said as he looked around the place. It was a bit of a mess, but he didn't mind. It wasn't as messy as Paps, so he could let it pass. "You don't need to help me.. I can manage." Sci replied as he went back to his work station and continued working on a couple of components for a machine he's making.

"Come on, Sci- Let me help! At least let me make you a snack or something." Blue said as he sat in front of Sci, hoping he would get a yes. Sci let out another sigh as he thought for a moment. "Sure. I'd appreciate some of your tacos right now.." Sci said with a small smile on his face. Blue jumped up a bit from excitement as he headed to the kitchen. He quickly whipped up a batch of tacos, making sure it was extra delicious for Sci- he felt like he needed to impress Sci at the moment. He made his way back to Sci with a plateful of tacos and placed it beside Sci. Sci gave Blue a thankful smile before he picked one out of a plate and started eating it.

"Mm, this is delicious as always, Swap.." Sci commented as he continued to eat. "Of course! Everything the magnificent sans makes are delicious! And, I told you to call me Blue instead, remember?" Blue replied, quickly adding the last part. "Ah, sorry, Blue.." Sci said as he finished his taco. He went right back to the component he was working on before Blue poked his head in. "Could I help with that? You know I'm good at making puzzles, so I can help with that, right?" Blue commented as he watched Sci work. "Hm, do you know how to redirect electricity?" Sci asked, looking up from what he was working on. "Of course I do! It's simple." Blue replied with a grin on his face.

"Well, I'm really tired right now.. So, could you take over for this while I try to finish some things I'm supposed to program?" Sci asked as he placed everything he was holding down. Blue started to worry rather than to get excited, though. "Tired? When was the last time you've slept though?" Blue asked, his tone showing he was definitely worried. "A couple of days ago- it's not important, though. I'll be done with this in probably a couple of days." Sci replied as he waved it off. "Sci, that's not healthy... You should sleep." Blue said as a worried expression took over his face. "It's not important, Blue.. I'll be fine." Sci replied as he turned to get back to work- but Blue was not having it.

He picked Sci up and ran up to Sci's bre room. "You're going to sleep whether you like it or not." Blue said as he plopped Sci down on the couch. "Seriously. You're a scientist but you don't know what's unhealthy." Blue commented. Sci was about to get up, but he was kept still with a blanket and a hug. Sci was about to protest, but.. he felt the sleepiness start to kick in, and after days of brushing it off, it started to hit him really hard. So he fell asleep, Blue hugging him close. The couch was big enough to fit them both, so he didn't have to worry about falling off the bed. He took Sci's glasses off after a while and set it down on the nearby table before hugging Sci again and drifting off to sleep.

Sci felt like he could rest easier- mostly because Blue was there. He guessed he should have Blue come in more often to make sure rests and sleeps- especially if all his sleeping times will end up with warm blankets and sweet hugs from Blue.

Hi again- it's 3 am by the time I finish this and I just sle ep y- so- this is probably weird and, again, not what you wanted. But whatever.

Edit: you know the more I think about it, the more I realize I should've done something CPAU- h h h hh h
