Chapter 29

"Really? " Niall, who had been blindfolded by Harry, laughed as he held onto Harry's hand, as he led him into the club doors. Niall had no clue what was going in, but he could sense that they had entered into a large space.

"Shh," Harry said, kissing his cheek, before untying the knot, pulling the blindfold off.

"Surprise!"

Nil jumped slightly, before grinning. All around him people stood, the large club had been decorated in streamers and balloons. Harry hadn't rented out a club, no he had just somehow convinced everyone in it to do this. Niall's heart soared, this was perfect. The music started up and everyone began to dance, smiles on everyone's face.

Soon Zayn, Liam, Leeroy, Veronica, and Louis came out of the crowd, each giving Niall a hug. Harry eyed Louis. Yeah everyone had accepted his apology, and agreed to give him a second chance, but Harry was still weary of him.

"Well Niall, you may only be 18, but it's your birthday, and we're getting drinks!" Veronica yelled over the music, disappearing along with Louis, Zayn, and Leeroy to get double rounds of shots for the group.

A head of red hair popped out of the crowd, walking up to Harry and Niall. "Ed!" Harry greeted the doctor, who was in his usual casual attire along with a beanie to conceal his ears.

Harry had been tentive to admit to the doctor about his involvement with Niall, but Ed had been cool with it, explaining to Harry that he had already had his suspicions about the pair. Ed also said he would sneakily look into things at Vance, claiming he had thought things seemed fishy for awhile now.

"Hey Harry, Hey Niall." Ed greeted, handing a small package over to Harry, who put it on a table full of wrapped presents for Niall, who stared in awe. "Niall, you remember Ed right? " Harry said, his hand on Niall's lower back, comforting him. Niall nodded, a smile crossing his fave as he waved. "Hey Ed, thanks." he added, gesturing to the package.

"Anytime." He said, laughing as the group came back, two trays of shot glasses in their hands. "This should last for a bit." Zayn said, setting them down on the table. Everyone picked up a shot, downing them, before picking up another and downing it just as fast. The liquor burned at Niall's throat, but he soon found himself enjoying it.

After three more rounds of shots, the group had gotten a bit scattered. Zayn and Liam had ended up playing a game of pool, failing miserably in their intoxicated state, while Leeroy and Veronica and mysteriously vanished into the club bathroom.. Ed had disappeared also, though no one knew quite where he was, along with Louis as well.

Harry, who had only had two shots due to being the official designated driver, was with Niall laughing his ass off as the drunken lad climbed onto the bar and began to dance to the song.

Niall reached down and picked up the mic, running over to the karaoke stage. "C'mere Haz!" he giggled, motioning for Harry to come over as he picked out a song. Harry laughed, "Go ahead Ni, I will just watch."

Niall stuck his tongue out, before pressing a button and beginning the song.

"BOOM BOOM BOOM CLAP!" Niall began, singing along slightly slurred with the song.

" Boom Clap, the sound of my heart, the beat goes on and on and on and on and Boom Clap you make me feel good. Come on to me, come on to me." He continued, eying Harry, before dragging him onto the stage. Harry was ha did the mic and awkwardly continued the song, his deep voice sounding oddly attractive when singing the song.
