Living in the countryside of England has its ups and downs. As for now, it's just finished summer and the days are already getting shorter. So basically, you're waking up in the dark, getting ready in the dark and travelling to school in the dark. It can be a bit of a pain in the ass, if I'm being honest.
I'm in my last year of high school but it's like I've been alive for much longer. My intelligence is off the scale. Everyday is slow and boring because everything is so easy but I have to get through this so I can move on in my life. But I'm not the only one like this. Rosa has the same level of intelligence as I do, so we get through these tiresome days together. But I'd rather have it like this than being on the run 24/7. Because that's what it would be like if we were found. So we have to bare with it.
"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!" Ugh! Monday. I'm ecstatic, note the sarcasm. Half seven is my wake up call. It gives my just the right amount of time to get ready for school.
I get up, grab a shower, leave my hair naturally and get changed into my school uniform.

Once I'm dressed, I have my breakfast, clean my teeth, and pack my books into my bag. My parents are rarely home in the mornings, so I grab my phone and keys, lock the door and head off to school.
Half way their I meet up with Rosa. Usually she is all cheery and excited to see me, even though it's a Monday morning, but today she seems on edge. Like she has been super disturbed. Once she sees me, she sprints up to me and starts going off on one. I have no idea what she on about so I think it's time I say something. "Woah, woah. Slow down. What are you on about?" I ask. She looks at me with the most serious expression I have ever seen on her face. Now I know this is very bad. "It's the Mikaelsons," she attempts to say, a little out of breath, " The Mikaelsons have come back and are roaming free!"
~Dramatic Pause~
"WHAT!" I screech, causing a few glances our way. So I lower my voice back down. "What!" I whisper yelled. "It gets worse. Nicklaus has unleashed his werewolf side. He is officially the original hybrid." She looks at me really worried. "What are we going to do?" I ask her starting to freak out. "We are going to stay calm and get on with life like we usually do. Making sure we don't give ourselves unwanted attention." She says to me serious and giving me a reassuring smile. After I had finally cooled down little, we walked to school.
What we didn't know was that someone was overhearing our whole conversation.
