Discovered (Klaus)

Part 6

I turned around to face the original vampire and hybrid. "Geez! Can't we have a few minutes together? We haven't seen each other for a while since you kidnapped her!"

As fast as the speed of light, Kol was stood right in my face. "You are not in the position to be asking requests, darling." He said in a threatening tone. " Enough, Kol. Leave the girl be. But the sooner you tell him what he wants, the easier it will be, love." Niklaus said as he pushed Kol away from us. Kol sighs in defeat and sits back down on the sofa. Niklaus looks at me for a second longer, then he joins Kol on the sofa. That was weird. Niklaus' eyes held an unreadable emotion. I chose to let it slip and took a seat from opposite the original vampire and hybrid.

"Let's just make this easier for all of us. Rosa, here, is the unknown daughter of Silas and Qatsiyah. Rosa is the most powerful witch in the supernatural world. While I'm the only breathing shapeshifter, in the supernatural world." I finish my explanation and lookup to the two originals. To say they are surprised is an understatement. Their faces are fucking priceless.

I stand up from where I was sitting and walk up to them. I wave my hand in front of Niklaus' face, snapping him out of his daze. Once he has recovered, he slaps Kol round the head.

"You asshole! You just had to kidnap the most bloody powerful witch in the world and the only bloody shapeshifter!" Niklaus shouted at Kol.

"Oh, you're not really going to believe all that, are you?" Kol asks Niklaus, looking between Rosa and I.

"You don't believe me? Do you want me to give you proof?" I ask with amusement.

Kol glares at me. "Go on them prove me that you're telling the truth." Kol challenges.

I smirk. "Alright, then. But I think it would be a better idea if we went outside." I say. Niklaus nods and starts to lead us towards the front door, before I stop him.  "Wait, can you untie Rosa? Please. When I shift, I will only recognise Rosa, she can calm me down. If she isn't there then I will kill you." I say, being completely honest.

"I doubt that, love. But I don't think that is much of a problem. Is it, brother?" Niklaus asks, turning to face Kol.

Kol scowls but goes back towards Rosa. "If you try anything, you will regret it and we will find you." Kol warns.

"Promise." Rosa and I reply at the same time. It's like we're twins. But we aren't.

We head outside and towards the neighbouring woods. I walk towards a tree and hide behind it. I'm sure the boys are beyond confused. So I mind link Rosa to explain to them, what I'm doing. That's when I here Rosa speaking. "She's going behind the tree to strip, so she doesn't ruin her clothes. Then she's going to turn. Don't worry, she isn't going to run." She says. I don't know who that last bit was aimed at, though.

I strip down until I'm in nothing, then I start transforming into my favourite animal. My bones crack. I haven't shifted for a couple of weeks so this is a little painful. But it's not as bad as my first change. Damn that was horrible. More bones crack. My body shifts into unnatural human positions. I go down on my hands and knees. But they aren't hands and knees anymore, they are paws. I feel fur growing on my body. My face changes shape. Once I know I'm fully shifted. I come out from behind the tree. I see Kol and Niklaus but for some reason I feel this sort of connection towards Niklaus. I feel safe around him. Just for a bit of fun, I start to prowl forward towards Kol. I bare my teeth at him and let out a low growl. I see fear in Kol's eyes which I thought I'd never see. I get in a stance like I'm about to pounce but, of course, Rosa has to ruin my fun. "Scarlet! Stop playing a round!" I turn towards her and see that she is trying her very hardest not to crack a smile. I give a little giggle that sound super weird in this form.

The two originals still look in shock at the beast before them.

What can I say, I am a shapeshifter.
