Once I heard that name, it was like my whole world had just stopped. Like everything around us was frozen in time. In this moment all I could see was him, Niklaus. He couldn't be. That's impossible, right?

I'm snapped out of my thoughts by 'The One And Only' Kol. "Scarlet! I knew I heard you. Let me free you from my brothers paws," says to me, but I don't miss the smirk he gives Niklaus. Another low growl is heard from Niklaus as we start to walk away. After a few steps, I turn. Only to find that Niklaus had disappeared.

I turn back to where we are going and focus on the problem at hand. We go through double doors and enter a large living room.

It was absolutely beautiful. But the thing that ruins the whole picture was Rosa. She was tied up to a wooden chair; out cold. I ran up to her and knelt beside her. I took a hold of her shoulder and shook her. "Wake up, Rosa! Rosa, come on! Wake up!" She wouldn't wake. I spun to face Kol however I wasn't fast enough. I was harshly pushed up against the wall. With Kol's face only a few inches away from mine.

"She's not going to wake up until you give me what I need," he says, his breath fanning over my face.  "Why do you want to know? We can put you in serious danger. We can get you killed. You can get us killed. How can we trust you?" I question. I'm only looking out for me and Rosa, not them. At that moment, Niklaus walked in and said "We will protect you at any cost. It's obvious that you two are dangerous and powerful. It may be that you need us just as much as we need you."

I hate it, but it's true. If I'm right, which I probably am, I their help. Well more like Niklaus' help, to be exact. "Fine! I'll tell you. But it might be a better idea if Rosa was awake for this." Niklaus looked at Kol. Feeling his gaze, giving up, Kol walked over to Rosa. He reached into his jacket pocket and retrieved some kind oh herb and a lighter. He lit the herb on fire only to blow out the flame. He positioned the smoking herb under Rosa's nose. After a couple of seconds Rosa started showing signs of waking. "What is that?" I quizzed. Kol stood straight again and faced me. "A special and rare herb that knocks out then can awaken all supernatural creatures," he replied. "How do you know we're supernatural?" I asked. When a voice from behind me replied, "Well you're obviously not human, are you, love?"

I looked behind to Niklaus to see him already looking at me. We made eye contact. It was like the world stopped again. Let me tell you, it sure is weird. We were broke out of our trances by a gasp from the centre of the room. It was Rosa. I ran over to her, once again, and knelt beside her, once again. "Rosa! Are you okay?!" I asked.

"No. It looks like I'm still stuck with the psycho family and you're here too. What are you doing here?" She asked groggy yet concern was written all over face. "Kol persuaded me," I said, giving Kol a look. "You agreed. Didn't you?" She asked, knowing full well that I did. "Of course I did. You didn't really think I would let them kill you, did you?"

"Nah, I guess not." She replied, giving me a smile. I returned the smile and enveloped her in a hug. I could just stay like this all day. I felt safe, with no worries. That is, until I hear his dreaded voice once again:

"Sorry to ruin the moment, really, but you have a promise to keep. We're waiting."
