"alright bro, this is me" Leigh said pointing to the classroom
"aight, good luck"
"you too" He said before dapping me up then walking into his classroom
Leigh and I have spent the whole weekend together. We went to Walmart on Saturday to shop for the little stuff we needed for the room, then we went around exploring DC. Then yesterday we explored campus to get a better understanding of where everything is.
There's definitely a bond forming which is great because I at least need one genuine friend. and what makes it better is that he didn't know me or my dad before so it can't just be clout chasing.
Both of our classes are in the same hall but different rooms. His major is Electrical engineering and since mine is technically also a science/math major most of our classes are in the science building.
My first class is Introduction to Statistics B. Since I took AP Statistics in high school and got a 5 on my test I was able to skip Intro to Stats A. Well that and my grade for the math placement test.
I walked into the classroom which was mostly full. I looked around for a seat then spotted one next to the guy from the barbecue. Truthfully I forgot his name. I decided to go sit with him just because he was a familiar face.
"someone sitting here?" I asked pointing to his bag on the seat
"oh, nah" He said lifting his bag up and placing it on the floor next to him
"you know, you should never put your bag on the floor. that's how you lose money" I said while taking my bag off and placing it on the desk
"I don't believe in superstitions...besides this shit is only sixty-five dollars. you on the other hand...Louis Vuitton bookbag? money"
"it was a graduation gift—well one of them"
"what else did you get? a Lamborghini?" He joked
"haha, rich kid jokes. and nah I'm more of a Rolls Royce kinda guy"
"not surprising"
"what's that supposed to mean?" I asked pretending to be offended
"nothing" He shook his head "I didn't see you at the party Saturday"
"yeah like I said I'm not really a social person. plus my roommate didn't wanna go either so we just stayed in"
"Alright class. This is Introduction to Statistics B. If you don't belong here, the door is right there. We're going to start with the syllabus then I'll hand out a quiz to test you on what you already know. If you get less than an 80 I suggest you drop this class because I will not be going over any of the information learned in Statistics A. If you get less than a 60 I will mark you absent and personally drop you from this class. Let's get started"
