I could hear them trying to open the door. "It doesn't matter if you open that door, Claire. There's a second locked door, I seen it when he took Willow out" I heard a sigh and foot steps walking away from the door. "Okay. He's gonna come in here again any second, and we're not letting him take one of us out again. We just....We just cried and screamed, and we didn't hurt him because we were afraid to get him upset. Now look what he's done to poor Willow. God, that's victim shit. Jesus. We should fight him. We should drop a cazy-ass bomb on him" I heard her pacing the entire time. "I saw him pick up Willow like she was nothing and carry her out through the door. One punch from him would knock one of us out" Casey's voice was solemn and dull. "I took....I took six months of kenpo karate class, and you distract the assailant with pain" Casey once again cut in. "Everything is so easy for you guys. You do one thing, you can predict the next thing. It's not the way it's gonna be in this situation" I could hear how pissed Claire got as she continued to rant. "We're not getting out of here. You're saying that you're not gonna fight with everything in you? You know the only chance.....The only chance we have is if all of us go crazy on this guy. We have to hurry" I opened my eyes to see Claire walk away and Marcia taking her place in front of Casey. "We need you Casey. Claire is smart. Let's listen to her. I'll do it if you're gonna do it too. We can win-" "He'll hurt us. No. Shut up. Both of you" "You're gonna pick your miserable self up and help get us out of here" "Blow me. And your six months of karate at the king of Prussia mall can blow me, too" "No. No, no you-you can't do this today. You can't do this right now. Why do you do this? Why do you act like this? Why do you act like you're not one of us?" It goes silent again. "I'll let you know when I hear something that makes sense. We don't even know what this is yet"
A few hours ater I was woken by a feminine voice from behind the door speaking. It was cut off when Marcia and Claire started shouting causing me to flinches as a deep voice, I'm presuming Dennis, shouted not to enter. I looked up as the door opened and widened my eyes. There was Dennis, or atleast someone who looked like Dennis, standing in the door, wearing a tight red shirt, long necklace and skirt. Their voice came off as British and motherly. "Don't worry, I'll talk to him. He listens to me. He's not well. He knows what you're here for. He's not allowed to touch you. He knows that. Uh-uh. Hmm?" She looked around, looking at all the girls then stopped on me a frowned. "Oh dear, are you alright?" I didn't answer, instead gripped Draco's collar and he shifted closer to me. "He didn't touch you did he? Did he touch her?" He/She asked the other girls. "We-we think he, um, r-r...." Claire couldn't finish. The man/woman tutted. "Dammit Dennis" She cursed. She gave one final forced grin and exited, closing the door behind her.
"He has D.I.D" I whispered. "What?" Claire asked. "D.I.D? Dissociative Identity Disorder. It's like Split personalities. It, um, happens from childhood trauma" Claire groaned. "That doesn't exist" "Yes it does, he has it and other people have, they just don't come out and say it because of people like you" She gave me a glare. "It. Doesn't. Exist. It's made up. Not real" I rolled my eyes.

It's been a few hours since Dennis and the woman have been around and I've caught myself thinking of them. 'How many were there? Could it be just them two or is there others, like children? Are they alters or is one of them the 'original' '
Casey, Claire and Marcia are sitting around one of the beds, talking. I'm still sitting in the corner with Draco, my eyes closed, giving the impression i'm asleep. Draco was pretty much on my lap keeping me warm. My fingers were intangled in his fur, keeping me calm as I listened to what they were saying.
"He's just trying to scare us" Claire seethed. "He was having a full conversation with himself. What was that line about...'The food is waiting'?"Came Marcia's calmer reply. "Does everyone get how wacked this is and that we need to get out of here now?" Her voice shook as she finished talking and the room brightened from underneath my eyes. Draco sturred and lifted his head as the door opened. The light sound of shoes hitting the ground let me know it was Dennis that entered. The door closed again but the girls didn't start talking again and Draco didn't settle letting me know he hadn't left. The clang of metal caused my hearing to purk up. I didn't open my eyes but it sounded like a bucket or something. "You....no!" The sudden caused me to jump slightly but I seemed to remain unnoticed. "Please, keep your area neat. The bathroom, it's unacceptable. To make it easy, I've color-coded these. Use the blue bottle f-for the floor and the pink for the ceramic surfaces" He let out a sigh and made a sound. It was silent for a few seconds, then movement from my left startled me. My fingers twitched in their grip on Draco's fur. Small thin hands placed themselves on my shoulders. My body tensed involunteerily. "Will-" The voice I recognised as Marcias was cut off. "Leave her, she's fine. Let go of her" The hands reluctantly retracted and my body relaxed. 'Thank you Denis' I found myself thinking.
"Patricia has reminded me that... I was sent to get you for a reason. That you are sacred food. And I promise not to bother you again" I heard the bathroom door close over and footsteps make their way over to me. Draco stood up, practically covering me. "Easy, ugh, Draco" I heard him ease. Draco very reluctantly eased back and lay back down on my lap with a grumble. I was curious about what he was going to do. Very gently his hands rested on my face and tilted it up. His fingers delicately ran over the scars around my face. "She's very pwetty" Came a child-like voice. 'Maybe another alter?' My hair was pushed back and then my head was slowly put back into it's previous position. Next he picked up my hands and turned them around his. "Check her wrists Denis" The woman, Patricia, demanded. My sleeves were pushed up and as I was about to pull back and open my eyes there was a laugh. A joyous laugh. A relieved laugh. A laugh you'd let out after winning the jackpot. "She's pure. Patricia, she's pure" Denis laughed happily. It was odd to think about, Denis laughing. I'm sure if I open my eyes, there would be a large smile present on his usually stern, cold face. "This is wonderful Denis, I'm sure the Beast will love her too" My hands were released, my sleeves were lowered and a gentle kiss was placed on my forehead before Denis jumped up and out the door. I opened my eyes as the door locked. I stared at the closed door and furrowed my eyebrows.'Pure? The Beast? What does that mean? Pure. I'm anything but pure. The Beast? Is that another alter?' The bathroom door opened and I shut my eyes again, trying to fall asleep once more.
