We were in a church. Pietro, Wanda and I came to see someone who could offer us a job. "Talk, and if you're wasting our time..." Wanda spoke up. There was a single chair in the center, it's back to us. "Did you know that this church is in the exact center of the city?" a deep, almost robotic voice said. "The elders decreed it so that everyone could be equally close to God. I like that. The geometry of belief." Wanda was slowly stepping closer to him, and her face was one of concentration. Pietro and I exchanged glances. "You're wondering why you can't look in my head." the voice interrupted the silence.

"Sometimes it's hard, but sooner or later every man shows himself." Wanda replied coolly. "I'm sure they do." The figure rose, and turned around. It was a robot, made of a dark metal, with red eyes. I gasped and backed up, bumping into Pietro. He put a protective arm around me, his eyes trained on the robot. "But you needed something more than a man. That's why you let Stark take the scepter." the robot walked up to us. Pietro pulled me back, but Wanda stayed where she was. "I didn't expect, but I saw Stark's fear. I knew it would control him. Make him self-destruct." she stated.

"Everyone creates the thing they dread." the robot started to walk away from us. We followed, my hand in Pietro's. If we weren't in the situation we were in, I probably would have made a big deal of the gesture. "Men of peace create engines of war. Invaders create Avengers. People create......smaller people?" the robot stopped walking and turned to face us. "Children. I lost the word there."  "Children....design to supplant them, to help them...end." The robot put his hands out. "Is that why you've come, to destroy the Avengers?" I spoke up.

"I've come to save the world." the robot said in a sterner tone. "But also, yeah." I nodded at the robot's statement. The robot led us to another place. "We'll move out right away. This is a start, but there's something we need to begin the real work." The robot explained. "All of these are....." I trailed off on my sentence. "Me. I have what the Avengers never will. Harmony. They're discordant. Disconnected. Stark's already got them turning on each other. And when you get inside the rest of their heads.." the robot was pulling a chain as it was saying this. "Everyone's plan is not to kill them." Pietro said. "And make them martyrs? You need patience. Need to see the big picture." the robot explained.

"I don't see the big picture. I have a little picture. I take it out and look at it... every day." Pietro glanced at me, his eyes clouded with sadness. "You all lost your parents in the bombings. I've seen the records." the robot looked at the three of us. "The records are not the picture." I spoke up. "Guys." Wanda looked at us. "No please." the robot gestured to Pietro.

Pietro looked at Wanda, "We were 10 years old. Having dinner, the four of us. When the first shell hits, two floors below, it makes a hole in the floor. It's big. Our parents go in....and the whole building starts coming apart. I grab her, roll under the bed, and the second shell hits. But it doesn't go off. It just...sits there in the rubble. Three feet from our faces. And on the side of the shell is painted one word..." Pietro trailed off.

"Stark." Wanda had tears in her eyes. "We were trapped for two days. Every effort to save us, every shift in the bricks, I think, this will set it off." Wanda's face darkened. "We wait for two days, for Tony Stark to kill us." she finished. "We know what they are." Pietro stated, and looked at me.

"I wondered why you two survived Strucker's experiments. Now I don't. Tell me about you." the robots eyes fixed on me.

"I was 9 years old, playing a game of Hopscotch outside alone. Suddenly, there was a big boom. I looked up, to see an explosion in the building in which I lived, and where my parents were. I heard screams as the building fell. It was leaning my way. I knew what I had to do. I started to run, maybe I could get to them in time. Another one came, it went straight through the building. The building fell on top of me. The last thing I remembered was seeing the word Stark on the shell. I woke up, a few days later. I managed to get out of the rubble. It took me days to find my parents bodies. I stayed there for days, just crying. Finally, people came, so I left them. I managed to live off of scraps." I looked down at the ground.

"Tony Stark killed my parents, so that is why I'm going to kill him." I looked at the robot. "We will make it right. Us three can hurt them. But you, will tear them apart." the robot cupped Wanda's cheek.
