Wanda, Pietro and I walked into the room that Ultron was in. He was plugged into the regeneration cradle. "I can read him. He's....dreaming." Wanda looked at the cradle. "I wouldn't call it dreams. It's Ultron's base consciousness. Informational noise. Soon..." the woman I knew as Dr. Helen Cho said. "How soon? I'm not being pushy." Ultron looked up. "We're imprinting a physical brain. There are no shortcuts. Even if your magic gem..." Wanda started walking closer to the cradle, and put her hands on it. I looked at Pietro, his arms were crossed, and we were both keeping our distance.

Wanda cradled her head and yelped. Pietro was by her side quickly, and I ran up to them. "How could you?" she looked at Ultron. He had unplugged himself and stood up. "How could I what?" he looked at us innocently. I narrowed my eyes at him. "You said we would destroy the Avengers, make a better world." she stuttered as she said this. "It will be better." Ultron said. "When everyone is dead?" she looked at him in shock.

"That is not...The human race will have every opportunity to improve." Ultron stated. Pietro turned around and looked at Ultron in shock. "And if they don't?" he asked. "Ask Noah." Ultron cocked his head. Pietro looked at Wanda. "You are a madman." I looked at Ultron. "There were more than a dozen extinction level events before even the dinosaurs got theirs. When the Earth starts to settle. God throws a stone at it. And believe me, he's winding up. We have to evolve. There's no room for the weak." Ultron put his hands on the cradle.

I saw Wanda use her magic on Dr.Helen Cho. "And who decides who's weak?" I asked. "Life. Life always decides." Ultron stated, and Pietro narrowed his eyes. "There's incoming. The Quinjet. We have to move." Ultron turned around. "That's not a problem." Dr. Cho paused the cradle. Ultron blasted her. Pietro picked up Wanda and nodded at me. I teleported.

We were in the streets walking. Wanda had gone to get some food, while Pietro and I waited for her. "You okay?" he asked me. "Yeah. Overall. You?" I looked at him. He nodded. My stomach was sending butterflies all over. Should I tell him that I liked him? I would regret not saying anything if we died. "Pietro, I...." I trailed off as I saw a TV. On the screen was Captain America fighting Ultron on top of a bus. Wanda walked up to us and saw the screen too. "We have to help." I said. They nodded.

Pietro picked up Wanda and ran. I teleported myself to where Ultron was. I found him in a train, fighting Captain America. Pietro ran by and punched Ultron. Wanda blocked him from moving. I walked up, next to Pietro. "Please don't do this." Ultron looked at Wanda. "What choice do we have?" she replied. Ultron turned around to fire at Pietro and I, but Pietro grabbed me and dodged. I saw Ultron fly out in my peripheral vision. "Sorry." Pietro muttered to me. "No, you saved me. Thank you." I told him. We both got up.

"I lost him! He's headed your way!" Captain America ran to the front of the train, and I followed him. The guy who was supposed to be driving was knocked out. The captain and I exchanged glances. The train didn't stop, and started to go off the tracks. Captain America placed his finger on his ear, "If you have the package, get it to Stark! Go!" he said. I looked at him and shrugged. Men these days. "Civilians in our path." the captain looked at Pietro and I. I teleported from person to person, getting them out of the way of the train. The train glowed red, and then came to a stop.

Pietro ran up beside me, and his hands were on his knees. He was panting. "You okay?" I asked him, and put my hand on his back. Wanda walked up next to us. "I'm fine." he waved it off. "I just need to take a minute." He sat down, still panting. "I'm very tempted not to give you one." Captain America walked up to us. "He just saved people's lives, for god's sake!" I put my hands up in exasperation. "It's okay." Pietro looked at me, and our eyes met.

"The Cradle. Did you get it?" Wanda asked. "Stark will take care of it." the captain replied. "No he won't." I shook my head. "You don't know what you're talking about. Stark's not crazy." he looked at me. "He will do anything to make things right." Wanda stated. Captain Rogers just stared at her for a second. "Stark, come in. Stark. Anyone on comms." he put his finger to his ear again. "Ultron can't tell the difference between saving the world and destroying it. Where do you think he gets that?" I asked.
