"This is the second 23rd that you're not with me. I guess I'll be celebrating all alone starting from now until you return. Gosh, that sounded so pathetic but this is what you do to me, Jennie Kim."
Every 23rd of each month is their day; the day they met for the first time, the day Jennie asked Lisa to be her girlfriend, and the day of their first 'I love you'. A day full of bittersweet meanings.
Lisa remembered exactly how she felt when she heard those 3 words for the first time. They were laying on the ground covered in blanket, just the two of them. Jennie surprised Lisa with a little picnic while stargazing.
"The stars are so beautiful, but my favorite star is the brightest of them all." Jennie said.
"Which one is it?" Lisa asked, facing the night sky littered with thousands of glowing crystals.
"This one." Jennie replied and poked Lisa's cheek. "I love you, Lisa." The brunette expressed with a soft smile. The Thai girl grinned so wide that she felt her heart glow and beating madly in her ribcage.
"I love you too, Jennie."
