"Happy Birthday to the love of my life. I bought you this huge teddy bear, Dua Lipa's new album because I know you love her, and also a promise ring that I had planned to give you since months ago. I'll leave it in your room. I can't help but think that you're happy now, in someone else's arms. Did you forget about your promise? That you'll stay with me and always come back home? Please, just call me back once then I'll let you be happy."
Lisa entered Jennie's old room and smiled weakly. she felt empty, like the room which was once filled with happy memories. She placed the giant stuffed toy on the bed and the album beside it. Lisa opened the tiny velvet box which revealed a beautiful diamond ring, she sighed and closed it.
"I'll keep this until you're home." Lisa said to herself before exiting the room, taking one last glance at the gift on the king-sized bed.
