"You know what hurts the most? That I think about you every second when you probably forgot I exist already."
Lisa smiled bitterly as she recorded the voice mail, closing her eyes in disbelief. She put her phone down and laid down, thinking of all their sweet moment spent together. The memories that Lisa so dearly hold close to her heart and that Jennie so desperately want to erase.
She kept repeating Jennie's words in her head, ringing like a mantra.
"You know I'd never leave you, you're the most important person in the world to me."
Maybe it was genuine back then and she had a change of heart, or maybe it was all lies from the start. After all, promises were meant to be broken anyways.
