"Happy new years, Jennie Kim. The girl who stole my heart back in 2018, decided to leave me before 2020. My new year's wish is to have you come back home into my arms.. Is that too much to ask?"
Lisa watched with a blank expression while the fireworks color the night sky from her apartment's balcony. She could hear the faint cheering from the massive crowd who were gathering in the middle of the city for the new years count down.
"Three.."
"Two.."
"One! Happy new years!"
Excited cheers roared through the city. Suddenly it started snowing and Lisa smiled sadly, looking down while leaning on the balcony rail.
"Happy new years, Jennie." Lisa whispered to thin air, staring at the dark sky. "I hope you're happy, wherever you are right now."
