A/N: this would be what they look like, minus the pillow that Ashley's head would be on and plus the blanket^
Ashley's P.O.V
I slowly peel open my eyes, fighting the urge to keep them closed. The first thing I notice is how warm I am and I almost sigh from the feeling. I go to move from the position I'm in an feel something move over top of my blanket. Oh shit! I quickly start to remember watching the movie with Ethan before falling asleep.I slowly and carefully remove Ethan's hand from around my hip and crawl from his lap, being thankful that he placed my head on a pillow. The thought of being pressed right up against his skin makes my cheeks heat up. Ethan shifts in his sleep, but doesn't wake up.
I stand there watching him as I decide what to do while he sleeps. I take in how precious he looks while he is asleep. His face is so much softer and less defined. His hat his partially off of his head, allowing his dark hair to escape and making me want to remove it all the way and run my fingers through it. I didn't realize how long I was standing there admiring him until he moves and begins to open his beautiful hazel eyes, forcing me to turn around in embarrassment.
Ethan's P.O.V
I slowly open my eyes and lift my head, my body feeling slightly cold even with my hoodie. I glance around at my surroundings and sit normally on the couch. My eyes land on Ashley who moved from the couch and is standing across the room with her back to me. Her crop-top is very out of place so much that her bra clip is showing and just beneath it, I make out what looks to be tattoo ink."Wow Ash, you didn't strike me as a tattoo kinda girl," I tease, which causes her to turn towards me with a look of embarrassment and confusion written all over her face.
"Wait. Hold on. How did you...?" She stops mid-sentence and looks down at herself. She gasps and quickly pulls down her crop top that has ridden way too far up. She laughs awkwardly and her cheeks flare up with a deep shade of red.
"Whoops. You weren't meant to see that. See that tattoo is what I'd like to call a stupid mistake. I got it last year because I got really drunk at my first party and we played a game of truth or dare. I was so wasted that I don't even remember picking the design out and receiving the tattoo," Ashley tells me while chucking and shaking her head.
"I'm glad I did end up getting it though because I'm doing this thing where everyday I do something new or something scary, I just wish I remember the whole experience."
"Well if it makes you feel any better, I have a couple tattoos too. My brother has some too." I tell her.
"One time I even convinced my brother to let our sister give him a homemade tattoo. Now your drunkenly picked tattoo was professionally done, and can't be worse than Gray's." I say laughing.
"Eh I don't know. It might give his a run for its money though."
"I bet it's perfectly fine. Here, let me see it."
Ashley walks back to the couch and sits with her half-exposed back to me. She hesitantly lifts up the rest of her crop top and pushes up the clip of her bra, exposing her back to me. When I see the small tattoo, I'm in awe. I've never seen a tattoo that small look so detailed and beautiful.
