"I was rewatching the Riddick movies when I was hit with inspiration for PBD. I'd read all the Riddick fanfiction I could, and hadn't seen anything that was really what I wanted. I wanted a strong WOC who would bond with those worth it, and fight those who deserved it. I came up with Atiena when I saw a photo of Duckie Thot in a magazine, and thought, not only is she beautiful, but she's strong, and that's exactly who I want to be my heroine. Since then I've written 32 chapters for PBD, and I plan to upload all of them once I have the story finished. (I'm also the writer of Vaako's Downfall. I wrote it when I was 14, and never actually got around to book two.)"
