"Rain is a permanently exhausted mechanic/engineer that bought a ticket to ride on the Hunter-Gratzner. She seems like any other human(ish) being but she has more to her than that. She has incredible strength as well as speed, healing, and senses.
She also doesn't care. About anything or anyone, not even herself. She honestly couldn't care less about any of the survivors, in fact, she only stuck around out of pity. She was just fine with sitting down in the middle of the desert and dying, and she would have. If it weren't for him."

"I'm sorry I haven't finished writing the whole thing yet, though I have ideas for what I want to go down. Ummmm I think I decided to write the story because Pitch Black/Riddick was really my first taste of gore and dark storytelling when I was younger. I had always found Riddick interesting as a character who really only does things for people if he can get something out of it, too. I've seen many takes on him in many different fics, but his female (or male) counterparts written into the story are usually created from the same few formulas. So I thought maybe I would try my hand at it and write something a little different, though my story does have Riddick finding someone to take care of and protect. I hope that story arc isn't too tired out. I also have a soft spot for Vin Diesel as an actor because of how well he played Riddick in all the movies."
