the untold truths of a quiet person

just an introduction

                       Let's just start off with a little bit of an introduction. So hey I'm Jena. I can talk, but I just don't do so much. No I'm not one of those "OMG i'm totayll an introvert1!11 Outside? What's that??" people, although they are appreciated otherwise. Throughout general media all I've seen of quiet people are the hot guy who's so mysterious with a dark past or that creepy girl that stares at you in class while breathing concerningly hard. I'm sure those kinds of beings exists somewhere but of course it doesn't classify all of us. It's a more discussed topic and maybe more accepted, but how much can you say about that reserved classmate or coworker that you're in the same place with almost everyday that sits in the middle, front, or yes... corner of the room that you still can't recall their name and you probably never made eye contact with? That person was me for my entire life. However, each single individual's complexities on their own could fill the world's oceans, but the least commonly known is that of quiet people. Although ironic, I want to give a voice to them and share my untold truths of being one.

 I went on the app Whisper and asked strangers what they thought of quiet people. I thought this would be pretty interesting to incorporate so here is what they said.

"They're always the ones to watch out for, that's for sure. In my experience they're either smarter, darker, nicer, or funnier than the rest of the group. Usually a mixture."

"I'm a quiet person myself and I can say I spend a lot more time in my own head than speaking. I'm always thinking and observe a lot, although all the comments about it get real old real fast.'

"They would survive in the movie  A Quiet Place."
