It is now January meaning it's time for the prelims to start. Everyone got out of bed and got dressed. Over the month Kura,Uri and I trained everyone. We also met a girl named Kyu while going home after eating out since I was to lazy to cook. She was wandering around the forest. Apparently she was kicked out of her village for holding Lilith the wolf spirit in her. She is 1o making her 4 years younger than me. She was 9 when we found her. She was also abused by the villagers. Oh she from the village hidden in clouds Kumo. We brought her back to my house and she immediately stiffened. We found her around Christmas maybe a few days before.

"It's ok we won't hurt you. This is mine and my boyfriends house and theirs for the time being." I told her and introduced everyone since they didn't tell her their names only mine. She softened and greeted herself. "H hello my n name is Kyu I was k kicked out of my v village for being a d demon.T they abused me everyday." "You're not a demon if you where that would make me and the panda over there demons too. I was also abused in my village everyday but they stopped because of the Hokage. They still give me glares and call me names though. They occasionally throw things at me." Everyone gave us sad smiles and I gave her one. " what do you mean you would also be demons?" She asked shyly. She's cute to be honest. "Me and him are Jinchuurikis meaning we hold tailed beasts in us. I have the nine tails and he has the one tail." I said. "I I have the w wolf spirit in me L lilith." Her voice turning into a whisper a few words. I picked her up and carried her to mine and Sasukes room. "Sasu she's sleeping with us." I told him. "Ok" he replied. "Naru you just met her and you're already like her mom." Temari said. "Heh thanks? Anyway Shika come here for a moment." He walked towards me and I whispered in his ear. "Remember the girl I told you about before the Chunin exams? That's her talk to her." I said smiling. He blushed and nodded. I took Kyu to my room and put her on the bed. "How could a village abandon a 9 almost 10 year old?" Uri said angrily. It's true though. Even my village didn't do that and they are heartless I was only kicked out of an orphanage she was basically banished. "U um miss?" She asked quietly. "No need for the formality what is it darling?" I said softly. "W won't I just be a burden to you?" Her voice was still quiet but more firm. "No you won't wanna know why? Because you're the cutest little girl I've ever met and I will protect you that's a promise." She giggled and curled up next to me.
(Timeskip)
"SASUKE WAKE UP ITS CHRISTMAS LOOK ITS SNOWING KYU COME ON LETS GO PLAY KURA URI YOU TOO." I dragged Sasuke out of bed and brought kura and Uri our in their human forms. Apparently everyone heard me too. I put Kyu in a jacket and brushed our teeth. I also took her a bath and showered myself. "LETS GO COME ON SNOW." I ran downstairs. "Damn Naru you really are a child." Zabuza said. "SO WHAT?" I yelled back sassily. "Can't you easily make snow yourself?" Gaara said bored. "Yes yes I can panda-Chan but guess what 1. It takes out to much chakra to keep it going and 2. It's better when it's natural. I just enhance it." He nodded lazily and I ran outside. "GUYS ITS CHRISTMAS." I said while twirling Kyu in my arms. She cannot stop giggling it's so cute. We continued playing while everyone else stayed inside. After about 1 hour of snowballs, snowman's, and flat out acting like 3 year olds we went inside. "WOAH" Kyu yelled. She went inside first. "What is it..OMG!" I finally looked in the door. There stood a big ass Christmas tree filled with decorations and presents underneath. The whole house basically looking like a Christmas wonderland. "Guys! How long where we outside?!" "Well it was Sasukes idea. He knew how much you liked Christmas and we wanted to repay you for acting so nice and letting us stay here." Kankuro said. Sasuke turned his head with a blush while me and Kyu stood in awe. "Come inside you'll catch a cold." Iruka said worriedly. We walked in and there was also hot chocolate. "THANK YOU!" I ran up and hugged Sasuke also thanking everyone else. So did Kyu. "Mommyyyy" Kyu said. Everyone said a quiet aw and looked at me. Well I was blushing. "M mommy??" I tried not to squish her cheeks. "U um I'm sorry.." she quickly said. "No no! It's ok really I like it! What is it honey?" I said smiling. "I'm hungry!" She said happily. I made everyone food and then it was time to open presents. Shika and Temari where talking on the couch and all the couples where cuddling on the couches. "Naru open mine!" Hinata said. I grabbed the little box and inside was a little gold charm bracelet that had a heart locket on it with a picture of us in it. "AW HINA THANK YOU." I gave her a quick hug pulling her away from Kiba. I put it on immediately. The rest of the night was filled with gifts,laughs,and smiles from everyone. I later pulled Kakashi away for a second. "Kaka-nii I need to talk to you." "What is it?" "I uh I wanna revive my parents after the exam is over." He looked shocked. "Naru you'll die!" He whisper yelled. "N no I won't with the rinnengan and Kurama and Uris power I'll be fine." I whispered shyly. He quickly hugged me. "If you'll be fine I guess there nothing I can to about it huh." He said almost crying. I smiled at his protectiveness. "You can't tell anyone please?" He said ok and we went back. "Naru open mine" Sasuke said. I took the bag he handed me and inside was this beautiful white dress. It was lace and had no straps. "Your eyes lit up when you saw it so there ya go." He smiled and I jumped on him. "Thank you" I said in his ear. "Sasuke after the chunin exams I'll give you your present." I said smiling.

Ever since then I have basically been her mother. Apparently her parents died when she was 5. I've told Zabuza and Haku to look after her until we got back. I still have on the necklace Sasuke gave me. And the bracelet Hinata have me. "Kyu honey!" I yelled for her. And she came running down the stairs. "Yes mommy??" She might be 10 but it's still just as cute when she says mommy. "I will be leaving for a little while my beautiful princess." She smiled sadly but she understood and said to come back safe. "I will bye bye princess." I kissed her forehead and left with the rest of the group. To the preliminary round.
