Chapter 4

Severus POV

I was just sitting down to breakfast when a large Eagle owl swooped in and dropped a letter on my toast, then flew away. Arg, how rude and now I would have to have a house elf make me more. What a waste! Irritated I called a house elf to make me get me more toast. As I was waiting I flipped over the letter to see who it was from. Gringotts, what did they want? Curious, I opened the letter.

Mr. Snape

We have found your son. Now you may not remember him but I asheru you that he is real and alive. If you would be so kind as to come in so as to fix the situation.

My boy? My Alex? They found him?! I stood pushing my chair back. "BUBBLE!" I yelled for my personal house elf. *Pop* "Yes Master Snape, you called?" She said in a soft voice. I had gotten Bubble from an abusive home and made her my personal elf. Most people never saw my nice side except for my slytherins and Lily. "Bubble, I need you to go get my traveling cloak then you are going to come with me to Gringotts to get my son." I said rushed. Bubble gave a large smile. "Of course Master Snape, Right away." With a pop she was gone. I had been searching for my Alex since that terrible day.

-Flashback-

I had just put Alex down for bed and walked back to Lily and my room. Lily was in a lilac nightgown and laying down in the bed. It had been Alex's 2nd birthday today and we were worn out. Tom and James had come over for cake with Lupin and Sirius. James had got Alex a baby broom that only hovered about 2 feet off the ground but Alex had already broke a vase and knocked over 2 tables. Later after they had left, Narcissa came with draco. It was after dark because Lucius didn't approve of my marriage to Lily so he cut himself and his family from me or at least tried. Narcissa never cared and just wanted me to be happy. Alex was always really happy when draco came over. After playing for a couple hours, they left too. Lily had given Alex a bath and had me put him down. Just as we were falling asleep we heard Alex crying. Lily when to go check on him and get him to calm down. Not a minute later I heard Lily scream. I jumped out of bed and rushed to see what was going on. Albus was standing over Lily's body with Alex screaming in his arms. "What have you done?!?!" I screamed at him. "I did what I had to do to make my plan successful." With that Albus apprentated away with Alex and Lily's body. A day later a note arrived at my house saying, You shall never find your son and your wife is dead. It was unsigned but I knew who had sent it. Albus Dumbledore. I swore that I would find my son and when I did Dumbledick would pay for what he had done to my family.
