Chapter 11

Alex POV

Draco refused to put me down when Dad apprented us so when we got there I was still cradled in his arms with his wings still wrapped around me. Not that I minded at all. He was warm and smelled amazing, I felt really safe with him. I started wiggling to let Draco that I wanted down. He gently set me down and opened his wing, folding them neatly behind him. I was kind of sad to be released but I really wanted to see my new home. Dad had apprented us halfway down the driveway so I could see my new home. I gasped and started jumping up and down. I ran over to my dad and gave him a long hug burying my nose into his robes breathing in his sent. "I love it Dad!" I said muffled into his chest. Dad chuckled, "Do you really like it my little flower?" (Sev calls him that because he looks like Lily) "Dad it's perfect! I really do love it! It even has a garden! It's so beautiful!" I said bouncing up and down. I was always the one who took care of the garden at the Dursleys, it had been one of my favorite chores. My face darkened for a moment as I thought about the Dursleys but I push those thoughts out of my head. I wouldn't think about them now and ruin this perfect moment. I started to run down the driveway and jumping up and down the whole way to the door with Dad, Mione, Mrs. Malfoy, and Draco following slowly behind watching me. When I go to the door they were all still coming so I turned and slipped into the house. When they got inside they found me standing in the front foyer frozen in ahw.

Dad chuckled. "Do you like it?" Dad asked. "No I don't like it" I started "I love it! It's amazing!" I rushed over to my father again and gave him another big hug. Suddenly I heard a small growl from where Draco was standing. I let go of Dad and sort of skipped over to where Draco was standing with his mother a little farther back. I hugged him slightly rubbing my head on his chest and breathing in his sent deeply. I felt him pet my head and rap his arms around me again. I heard a small laugh from the other people in the room. I just smiled and turned to see the rest of the house keeping wholed of Draco. "Bubble!" Dad yelled. *Pop* A small house elf appeared, "Yes Master Severus, What can I do for you?" "Bubble, This is my son Alex, this is Miss. Hermione Granger and you know my godson and his mother." Dad said introducing all of us. Bubble walked toward Alex and Draco. She bowed to Alex. "Welcome home, Master Alex! Your room is ready, but you like me to prepare it for two people?" "Sure Bubble" I said with a funny face. "I'll explain later, Alex" Draco whispered to me. I just shrugged. "Bubble," Dad said "Before you do that could you please bring some tea, hot cocoa and a small snack to the upstairs sitting room please?" Bubble turned knotted to Dad then apprented away. Dad smile at me "Come let me show you your new home then we can talk, ok?" A "ok" came from everyone in the room.

(Going to skip tour and go straight to talking pictures of the house will be at the end of the chapter)

A fire had already been started in the sitting room and there was a tray of hot cocoa and tea with some small cucumber sandwiches on a small coffee table. I collapsed on a dark green and silver loveseat with Draco beside me. Draco's mother sat on one side of a small green couch with Hermione on the other end and Dad sat on a black armchair. (All of the seats were in a semicircle around the fire with the coffee table in the middle) I leaned on Draco's shoulder tired from everything that had gone on that day. Draco put his arm around me and I cuddled up to him smiling. I could see Hermione smile briefly at me then look at Dad.

Sorry short chapter. I'll make up for it I promise.
