Chapter 4

After the meeting with my dad I had to rush home to pack, I mean secret agents are on a time schedule. I rushed to my black Mercedes and started driving home. I decided to call Brandon to tell him That I was leaving for a couple days. It started to ring and ring for a while, He usually picks up after the third ring but he still wasn't answering. That's worries me a little.

"He must be in a meeting or something" I said to myself. I hung up not leaving a message and turned on the radio. Break Free by Ariana Grande came on. I started singing along and didn't even notice i pulled into the garage of my house. As I was walking into the house my phone started to ring. I looked at the caller id and debated on wither or not to answer. I sighed I had to. "Hello 27"

He chuckled "why can't you just call me Derek?"

"Because we aren't on name terms yet" and we never will be, I thought to my self. I sighed "what do you want? It's only been 30 minutes since I left"

"Just wanted to make sure you knew we had to be at the airport by 3" he said

I got a little angry, I know when I need to be places! "I knew that already 27, I didn't forget!" I hung up after that, I didn't care if he needed to 'make sure' I knew things. I threw my phone back into my purse and ran up stairs to pack. It was already noon and I still had to pack and go tell Brandon I am leaving.

I finished packing around one and decided now would be a good time to go tell Brandon i was leaving for at most a couple weeks. I decided to try to call him again. It started ringing and he finally picked up like he normally does, after the third ring. "hello?"

Humm that's weird he usually knows it's me. I shook it off "hey baby!"

"Oh hey what's up?" weird again he usually calls me baby back.. You know what I'm other thinking it.

"I need to talk to you, could you do lunch?" I said. I heard him sigh over the phone and then he spoke again

"I would but I don't have time today, could we just talk tonight?" I sighed I guess I'm gonna have to tell him over the phone.

"Sorry baby I'm leaving for LA in a couple hours, that's what I wanted to tell you." I said but after that there was a long pause. "Baby?" I said.

"Yeah? sorry I have to go see you tonight" he hung up before I could tell him what I just said about LA. I sighed, that was weird. I decided that I shouldn't over think it so i ate lunch for about an hour while watching an episode of Scandal then headed to the airport to meet up with my annoying partner. As I was driving my mind kept going back to Brandon... I sighed I really hope I am over thinking it.

Hey guys sorry it's so short I just wanted to leave it at that. Next update might not be until Monday or Wednesday of next week due to school starting for me. Also sorry for the sucky chapter :P
