Harry's POV

*October 1st*

"So what are you guys being for Halloween?" Evie asked from her seat beside Jay. "Jane and I are going as Mavis and Johnny from Hotel Transylvania," Carlos said, just as he said that his girlfriend popped up from behind him pecking his cheek. I snickered at the gagging noise Uma made. " I'm going as reptile from Mortal Kombat and Lonnie's going as Jade," Jay said. I chuckled as Jade's outfit in the video game was quite provocative.  "Well I'm going as a ballerina," Evie said. "Swan Lake?" Mal asked. "No the Nutcracker," She said. "Okay guys sorry to interrupt but what's Halloween?" Gil asked. "Oh that's right, we never had Halloween on the Isle," Carlos said. "Basically Halloween is a scary holiday where people dress up to get free candy party and scare each other, it's at the end of the month" Jay summed up. "One day full of scaring?" Uma asked. I smirked already reading her mind. "Uh oh," Evie and Mal said in unison. "Don't worry if they do anything bad Jack, Ben, and Mayor can deal with them," Jane said to the girls. "Who?" Uma asked. "When Halloween comes around on the 30th and 31st there are a specific number of people who are 100% in charge of how Auradon runs," Jane explained. "Mayor, the Mayor of Halloween town and yes that is a real place but we must never talk about it, Ben of course since he's the king, and Jack Skellington, the pumpkin king and basically the one who started Halloween" She explained. Gil, Uma, and I all shared looks of confusion. "Ugh you'll understand when Halloween rolls around, but in the meantime, we have to get you guys costumes," Evie said. "We have to dress up?" Uma asked."You don't have to but it's highly encouraged" Jane said.

My eyes trailed up to Ben who was walking around campus with a girl. My mouth dropped at the sight of her. She had pale skin but big bright red hair, her eyes were a black color making it impossible to see her pupil. She wore a black laced crop top with a high low black and whites skirt along with black boots. The make up she wore was heavy but it fit her nicely, pitch black smokey eyes, and blood red lips. "Harry what are you- Woah," Uma said as she saw the girl I was staring at. "Does Harry have eyes for Salice Jacqueline Skellington?' Evie asked excitedly. "What- that's preposterous, you know I always stare when I see babes," I said. "It's true Hary's a bigger flirt than I was," Jay said. "Yeah let's see, Salice Ben!" Mall called out everyone laughed as I got flustered trying to fix myself. 

"Guys, it's so good to see you again," Salice said as she hugged mal along with everyone else. "Hey Sj, meet Uma, daughter of Ursula, Gil, son of Gaston, and Harry, son of Captain Hook, they all came from the Isle a few months ago," Jane said. "It's so nice meeting you all I'm Salice Jacqueline, call me Sj," She said. "Are you by any chance the daughter of the Jack guy?" Uma asked. "Jack Skellington is my father yes along with Sally Skellington-Stichlyn being my mother," She said. "So you're a princess?" Gil asked gawking at her making me smack the back of his head. Salice laughed nodding her head slightly. "I guess you could say that, but just because my father is the pumpkin king doesn't necessarily mean that I'm a princess. It's just a title that was given to him by Mayor" She explained. Her eyes met mine and she smiled softly at me tucking a strand of red hair behind her ear.

"So the girl's hand I are going costume shopping, have fun guys," Evie said dragging Mal, Jane, and a very annoyed Uma away. "We have sword fighting," Jay said to Carlos as the two left. "I have a meeting with your father, Fairy Godmother, and Mayor, will you be okay alone?" Ben asked Salice who looked at Gil and I then nodded. "Have fun Benny Boo!" Salice said Ben chuckled before giving her a quick hug and departing from us. "So tell me about yourself lassie" I said. "What's there to tell, I'm Jack and Sally's daughter, I was made by Grandpa Finklestein as a gift to my parents, my father managed to make me look like this, Halloween is my favorite holiday, I have a ghost dog, I'm weird," SHe said shrugging. "We're all a little weird" Gil said. Salice smiled rubbing her wrist that had a bring red scar. I furrowed my brows looking up at her meeting her eyes.

"It's not what you think," She said gesturing to her elbows, neck, then smile, light scars were shown at each spot she pointed to. "I was kinda a creation so these are the scars from my stitches," She said as she rubbed her wrist again as if she was trying to rub away the scar. I grabbed her hand stopping her. "You like video games?" I asked. She smiled softly at me nodding her head. "Let's go, princess, Gil and I have a collection of video games," I said as I got up taking her with me. Gil stood up leading the way as I stayed back with Salice.  She kept her gaze on her shoes as we walked. "Everything okay princess?" I asked smirking. Her pale cheeks flushed pink. "Yup, just curious, what's with the hook, you have two hands," She said I chuckled grabbing my hook from its holster. I was about to answer when we heard arguing. Mal and Uma were arguing back and forth Evie, and Jane looking bored in between the two girls.

"Can I ask?" Salice asked pointing towards the two girls. "Long story short Uma doesn't like Auradon, granted I'm not the biggest fans but the ladies here are foxy, kinda like the one, I'm looking at," I said looking down at her winking. She smiled rolling her eyes at me. "That's rather odd," She said looking over at Gil who was trying to calm Uma down. "You're one to talk princess" I snorted. "I may be odd but that's because I come from a town hidden deep in the enchanted forest where we dedicate our lives to keeping Halloween alive, you're 17 and you carry a hook around even though you have two perfectly functioning hands" She said holding up her hand that was intertwined with mine and gesturing towards the hand that was holding my hook. "What's your excuse Hookie?" She asked. I chuckled awkwardly as I put the hook back in its holster. "You're a feisty one lassie, if you stick around I think Halloween might end up being my favorite holiday," I said. Salice just smiled at me, my heart was beating against my chest from the look she was giving me, I couldn't help but smile back at the girl. I don't know this feeling she's giving me but I love it.
