It’s the second day of the race and it’s around noon.  Dylan says that we are near the exit of the woods. He also said that we will be there by the end of the night. We have been running non stop and I can feel it taking a toll on the wolf body.

Dylan should we run in human form for a while this body is starting to falter. I said.

I guess your right. He sighed

Go to sleep I will wake you up at sunset.  I shifted into human form and continued jogging at a fair rate. Not too fast but not too slow. I heard running water just ahead and pretty soon I say a waterfall in front of me.

I looked for any way around it but I saw none. Well here goes nothing. I thought. i walked towards the waterfall and tested the slipperiness of the rocks. They seemed try enough so I started to climb. I was glad I wore my non slip shoes. I was half-way up the rock when I heard the rustle of bushes behind me. I looked back and saw what looked like stuck up guys looking for power.

“You know George, some of these wolves that are competing are omegas? Like that one that disrespected the o-so-powerful luna.” He said sarcastically. I continued to climb.

“Yah, I know. I mean it seems that they like to be humiliated. They should just kill themselves and do our world a favor.” said George. I really didn’t like these guys. Then all of a sudden a male that had a a few deep wound came out of the woods looking ready to pass out. You know what the stuck up guys did? They laughed at him and just kept walking. I didn’t realize i was at the top of the waterfall till I saw I wasn’t hanging onto something.

“Hey Riley is that the guy who disrespected the Old Lady?” George said.

“Yah…. Hey you piece of shit, what are you doing here,  huh? Looking for a easy way to get killed.” They laughed. I growled and felt my canines lengthen and my nails sharpen. My blood was pumping in my ears it was hard to hear what they were saying.

“Yo.. Omega we’re talking to you! Can’t you hear us or are you too stupid to know what we are saying?” George  called out. That did it. I jumped the 500 ft waterfall ledge and landed on my feet in front of them. “Look he can can do a few tricks how nice.” They laughed again. I growled and punched him straight in the face. I looked at the other one and delivered the same blow to his face. They were both knocked out.

I ran to the kid that was heavily bleeding a short distance away. He was unconscious do to the lack of blood. I picked him up and put him in piggyback style. I tore off some fabric and tied his feet and wrist around my neck and waist. I ascended the wall again with out any more distractions.

It was getting dark so I decided to wake up Dylan. Hey Dylan look this dude on my back is losing a lot of blood and we need to get out of here fast  before he dies on us. I say out quickly. I see in my mind Dylan nodding my head. I felt us shift and was surprise that the dude was staying on. I stayed awake while we took in a sprint. I could feel his breathing get shallower with every step I take. We’re losing him wolf we have to go faster! How much longer? I questioned.
