I layed in bed staring at the alarm clock.

Jack was at the studio. A usual time consumer for him.

I just sat there till I decided why not go get something to eat.

I walked downstairs and grabbed the pack of strawberries from the fridge. The only thing lighting up the room was the dim moonlight shining in and the fridge light before I closed it and made my escapade to the island.

I sat there all alone, sometimes these lonely nights made me question if dating a superstar was even worth it because of the loneliness I was constantly finding myself dwelling over.

I picked one up and popped it in my mouth. I was relishing in the sweetness until I heard the front door unlocked. So I put the strawberries away and walked to the living room.

There was Jack with a bouquet of sunflowers.

What I was saying about the loneliness is that it's all worth it because he always makes it up with the gestures and the things he does for me when we are together.

I walked up to him and just hugged him.

"J, I couldn't sleep can you please come and cuddle," I said giving him a soft kiss on the cheek and then brushing his messy hair off of his forehead and planting one there as well.

"Of course honey," he said as he sat the flowers in the vase I had gotten out because earlier today I was prepared for him to come late just because of how the hassle and the studio was sounding.

He picked me up and hugged me, spinning me around like it wasn't the middle of the night then scattered my face with kisses.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him upstairs, stumbling along due to how dark the house was.

We walked into our room and he dropped his bag, probably not even worrying about the expensive equipment he had brought along due to his overwhelming feeling of exhaustion.

I pulled him over to the unmade bed. We both got under the covers and then tangled ourselves together. He kissed me all over my face. I felt at peace as I slowly fell asleep in his arms.
