I woke up in the middle of the night and felt no one cuddling me.
I looked to his side and wasn't there. I stood up confused and walked over to the bathroom where the lights were on but I think I just left it on before I went to sleep because the door is wide open and there is no one in sight, not even our cat henry.
I walked out when I saw him laying on the floor next to his side I laughed knowing that he rolled off as he does regularly at this point.
I walked over to him and kissed his cheek and started lightly waking him. He woke up looking like he was on another planet and I was the first alien he was seeing as he stepped off the mothership.
He looked at me finally coming to his senses and I whispered "you fell the bed Dani".
"I did?" he said as he seems to forget that this has happened a handful of times.
He then proceeded to get up and role himself up in the comforter that he pulled down with him. he grabbed me and then pulled me down to the bed with him.
"y/n you know what I love you," he said. This was the first time that he has ever said it and for some reason, it felt oddly natural.
"I love you too Dani," I said then I kissed him softly.
We then fell back asleep, both on the bed this time.
