A/N: this shit goin to be long
————————————————
"Seungri-ah, I brought you some ramen." I cheerfully announced as I placed the bag containing a bowl of hot ramen on the coffee table.
I stared at my best friend's back. He was sitting on his antique chair facing a canvas board.
He's painting again.
"Y/N?" He called. I drew nearer to him. As I reached his side, I knelt down.
"It's me." He brought his hands to my face as he caressed my features.
"I-It is you. Still beautiful as ever." He said.
"How can you tell when you can't even see me?" I playfully smacked his arm.
Seungri is blind. He lost his sight in an accident when we were both fourteen. We've been together since we were in diapers, if possible, even when we were still inside our mothers' wombs. Hence, I was there from him ever since he can see up until this day where he lives in total darkness.
I know it must've been hard form him. That is why I'm trying my best to brighten him up.
"I don't need the capability to see for me to be able to justify your beauty. You're beauty radiates from your heart so loud that even intangible beings can sense."
"Stop it! How bout we eat the ramen?" I slowly guided him up so we can feast on the ramen I brought.
"So, what are you up to right now?" I asked before I slurped a chopstick of ramen.
"I'm painting a masterpiece." He replied.
"Everything you paint is a masterpiece." It is true. Seungri is such a great painter. I don't say this just because he is my best friend, I say this because it is true. Tons of people can justify.
Whenever Seungri paints, I sell them. He makes millions out of his paintings. This is what he does for a living. Even if I love him and his works, I still can't understand why people invest so much. Even though it is justifiable that his works are beyond awesome.
Everything he paints sell. Except for one. There's this painting that no matter how ethereal it looks, no one wants to buy it. It is an artwork of a man, a gorgeous man. It is entitled "The Search". I asked Seungri the reason behind the name but all he tells me is that it just came into his mind when he finished the artwork.
"This one is different. This may be the most beautiful work I'll ever create." I smiled at his determination.
Night came and I soon have to go home for I still have class tomorrow. I'm studying at a university and I work part time.
"Good bye, Seungri" I kissed his forehead. It felt normal for the both of us for I always do this.
Third Person POV
Seungri smiled in satisfaction as he did the last stroke to finish his masterpiece. It took him a lot for him to be able to finish his artwork. He wanted it to be perfect.
Even though he cannot see his creation, he knew that it was beyond beautiful. That is for sure. For what he painted was his best friend.
He touches her face every time she is within his reach, trying to memorize her features. Each detail of her face was based from his memory of her before he went blind.
He loved the girl so much. He wanted to let her know how beautiful she is in his eyes before it is too late.
He smiled as he heard his door open. She's here. "Seungri, I'm sorry I wasn't able to visit yesterday. University is being a bitch." He didn't reply to her.
