Chapter 5 // The Main Attraction

Niall's P.O.V

"Welcome to the land of misfit toys," Amaris announces proudly and at that the entire arena erupts in applause.

Approaching us is River and Davi with the twins Florentine and Ariella. Davi has his arms wrapped around the scarily identical twins while River towers over them from the behind. How is it possible for someone to be that tall? Where did my genes go wrong?

Amaris rolls her eyes as Davi approaches and leaves the twins sides to stand by her.

He smirks down at her and she huffs clearly annoyed by his presence.

"Why you gotta be so rude? Don't you know I'm human too." Davi sings rather ear piercingly and she only scowls.

Harry by now is dying of laughter and looks as if he might pee his pants any second. I chuckle and the rest of the boys follow watching Davi make a fool of himself while also providing us entertainment. The twins roll their eyes and I still can't process in my mind how two people can look so identical. They're literally the spitting images of one another.

"Do not quote my favorite song with your dreadful voice you little twat!" Amaris growls out but he doesn't seem to take her harsh words to heart as he pouts.

"It isn't my fault Dea ate your batch of cupcakes," he whines stomping his feet childishly and I can already see the friendship blooming between him and Harry.

Both act like three year olds, its the perfect match.

"I saw you feed them to her you punk!" she snaps sending her fist colliding with his arm and he hisses in pain.

I flinch, that looked painful.

If someone ate my food I'd be pretty mad too.

And now I'm also curious to who this Dea is?

"It's a lion cub," Nova says answering my unspoken question.

I turn and see it's Zayn she's talking to. When he catches my gaze he frowns and I take that as my cue to look away before he gets violent.

By now River is wrapping an arm around Amaris's waist pulling her back into his chest before she can get another hit in. She mutters barely audible curses under breath as River holds her back and I'm even more confused to see Nova completely unaffected.

I mean, her boyfriend is holding another girl in a way I would consider relationship only.

Unless she's okay with that...

Christ, why do I even care? It's not like its even any of my business. I've known them all for less then 24 hours.

"Anyways... how bout we get this tour started then?"

We all nod and shrug.

"What would you like to see first?"

At that Amaris wiggles out of Rivers grasp with a new sense of excitment "We have to show them the animal room!"

Nova gasps "Yes!"

Grabbing both Davi and River by the hands she begins to walk into the crowd of people. Amaris grabs Louis and Liam and motions for the rest of us to follow. The twins stand at my sides and I have to look away before I get whip lash or something.
