"Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life...
I love you more"

Chapter 3 // The Deal With The Devil
Niall's P.O.V
Mornings.
The one thing no amount of money in the world can get you out of.
Luckily for me I happen to be a morning person. Zayn on the other hand, who is crashed out in my spare bedroom, not so much.
All the other boys went to their flats last night but he'd been to lazy to drive home. So naturally I let him stay with me, because I'm just that awesome of a friend.
After washing away my morning breath and jumping into the shower I walked out of my room with extra clothes and an hour to spare before our meeting at eight.
Just enough time to wake up the monster in the other room.
Taking a deep breath I pushed open the door and gaped at the sight before me.
Zayn nodded his head at me as he tied the laces to his converse. I continued to stare at him in complete shock until he patted my shoulder and strutted into out into the hallway.
"How are you even awake right now?" I wonder a loud as I follow him into the kitchen.
He rolls his eyes as he opens up the fridge and pulls out eggs and bacon.
"I'm fully capable of getting myself ready in the mornings."
"Since when?"
He scoffs as he turns on the stove and continues to cook us breakfast because although I have a love for food I can't cook even if my life depended on it. Unless you count cereal and Ramen Noodles as cooking. Thank god for tredmills otherwise I'd be 300 pounds heavier thanks to my not so healthy diet.
I still wonder how I manage to survive without my mum's home cooked meals.
"So what do you think this meetings about?" he asks whilist cracking the 4 eggs into the pan.
I shrug "Who knows."
He doesn't say anything after that and usually I'd think his silence was his normal behavior but now it was kind of suspicious.
"Do you know what it's about Zayn?"
He shakes his head "No no, I don't."
Knowing Zayn's annoyance when people pry in his buisness I dropped it not wanting to push him into a bad mood. I'm sure the last thing we need is more grouchy than usual Zayn in a management meeting.
That would definitely not roll over well.
We eat in silence and after a half an hour Liam is outside to pick us up.
"Goodmorning boys."
I pat his shoulder as I shut the back door.
"I have a feeling it won't be such a good morning after this meeting," Harry says from the front seat betraying the bright smile he has plastered to his face. Although I'd like to stay optimistic he's probably right. There's very few management meetings we've been to in the past four years that didn't end up with one of us wanting to punch their teeth in.
