Never said you had it easy,
But neither do I,
Yet you thought so and acted likewise,
While I stood metres away
Putting on a smile.Never thought what I knew,
Was all there to the story, yet,
That's exactly what you did,
Without even bothering to think
There could be another side to it.Never spent a day without crying
Yet you found it to be perfect, alluring,
Cause you never saw them,
All those emotions bottled up inside
Only burst out when you weren't looking.Never did I complain of how you treated me,
But you thought I did,
Jealous of my world you started hating me,
Only if you knew how dark it was
Without light how hard it became to breathe.Never have I told you these,
Cause you couldn't be bothered
To hear what I had to say,
You thought they were useless,
Found my life to be a child's play.Never could I turn my pain into words,
How could I? When they were the ones
I could hold onto when everyone hides,
It's time I let them go
So others could do the same,
Instead of me alone.
