Chapter 2
The day started as a normal day. Toya came in as usual asking all her questions making sure Alexis is on point.
"Good morning Alexis. Did you file..."
"Wait . We are not gonna start this today. I've done all the morning work to start our day. Come have a seat at my desk for a second."
Toya sat down.
"Wassup girl?"
"So what happened after me and Rashawn left?"
"Well we finished dinner and drunk some wine and he asked did I have a man."
"Wow just like that?"
"Yes just like that?"
"Wow he's blunt huh." said Alexis.
"Yes he is. I procrastinated and said I had to go home. We got home and he asked me could he have a hug and kiss."
"Oh this is juicy. So did you let him?"
Toya said "yes I did."
"Girl I knew he was the one so you gave him some right?"
"No girl I didn't."
"What?" Alexis said.
"Why not?"
"I don't want to seem like I'm easy besides we got to work together."
"Correction you guys work at the same place not working together."
"Same thing." Toya said.
"So are you gonna see him again?"
"I don't know, but I think I may."
"Great cause girl you need to get laid for real."
"ALEXIS!!!!"
"Hey I'm sorry I'm just saying ever since Mr Lamar White you have fallen off. I know he did you wrong but all men don't just want sex. Sex ain't better than love and I believe Lance wants to give you love."
"Whatever. I got to get to work and so do you. We will talk later."
Meanwhile at Rashawn
The doorbell rung. Rashawn got up and opened the door.
"Yo wassup bro."
It was his good friend Lamar White.
"What's popping man?"
"Nothing much. Come in. You want something to drink?"
"Nah man. I'm good. So what blow you my way?"
"Well I'm back man. I got a job offer back here that pays more and you know me I'm gonna go where the money is."
"True man. Congrats to you. So what's been up here?" Lamar asked.
