"This would look so good on you!" Kelsey said, throwing a wad of fabric to Tristen.

Catching it with ease, Tristen held out the fabric to see a bodycon black dress with teal lace cutouts on either side of the stomach. She gave Kelsey an enthusiastic nod, then walked out of the closet to try on the dress.

Once she had stripped and then put on the dress, she looked in the mirror. It was strapless, and the cutouts were big enough that you could almost see her whole midsection. Kelsey squealed in delight when she saw the dress on her best friend.

"I'm gonna start on my hair and makeup," Tristen told her, walking to the bathroom. Not caring if she saw, Kelsey nodded in response.

Tristen turned on the curling wand and pinned up her hair so only a layer of her brown hair was down. She quickly curled sections of the layer, then took her hair down and repeated the process of leaving a layer down and curling it.

She decided on simple makeup, only a little bit of shimmery gray eyeshadow and then some mascara. Taking a good long look in the mirror, she admired how the dress fit on her curves. She was surely getting some free drinks tonight.

Tristen laid on Kelsey's bed as her friend got ready. She stepped out of the bathroom five minutes later in a tight red dress covered with a black lace design. She put on a pair of black stilettos and threw a pair of teal ones to Tristen.

They got in the car and turned on the radio, which made both of them laugh when they heard the song intro.

"This is your song," Kelsey chuckled. Tristen laughed and nodded, singing along.

'Oh and he don't know...

That I dug my key into the side of his pretty little souped up four-wheel drive

Carved my name into his leather seats,

Took a Louisville Slugger to both headlights

Slashed a hole in all four tires

Maybe next time he'll think before he cheats.

I might've saved a little trouble for the next girl,

Cause the next time that he cheats...

Oh, you know it won't be on me.'

That song made Tristen feel better, but it also made her mad knowing that there are other assholes out there that cheat. A punishment like the one in the song is not even close to what they deserve.

"Hey, little mama. I've been watching you shake it from the other side of the club, and I wanted to give you this for doing such a good job at it." He handed a tall glass filled with pink liquid to Tristen, who gladly accepted it. One drink down, now they should come pouring in.

"Oh, thanks," she took a sip. "What's this called? It's super good."

The guy, who wasn't that bad looking, smirked. "Pink Panty Pull-down. I can only imagine that that's what color yours are," he said, giving her a wink and walking away.

That's weird, she thought. I'm not wearing any underwear, but my bra is pink...

She walked to the bar to see Kelsey sitting there talking to the bartender. Quickly, she took the empty seat beside her and took another sip of her drink.

"Whatcha got there?" Kelsey asked, poking the glass.

"The guy said it's a Pink Panty Pull-down...I'm not sure what it is but it's super good," Tristen replied, earning a laugh from the bartender.

"It's a mix of Sprite, vodka, and pink lemonade. Most people can't even make it through the first glass," he stated. Both of the girls nodded.

"By the way," Kelsey started, "this is Chase Darvin. He's going to college at UGA and works here on the weekends."

"Hi, Chase," Tristen stuck out her hand, which he gave a nice handshake to. "I'm Tristen Hyatt."

"I've heard of you," he said sheepishly. "Party girl from Johnson. Apparently can hold her weight in alcohol, which I now believe to be true," he gestured to her empty glass. "Want another?"

"Actually, what I really need now is something strong. I'm trying to forget something," she confessed. He nodded and gave her two shot glasses of Fireball, which she downed as soon as he put them on the counter. The burning sensation felt good to her throat; it was like she could feel her bad memories fading away.

"Dance with me!" she yelled, pulling Kelsey to the dance floor. The DJ seemed to know all their favorite songs, because he kept playing great music all night.

They both squealed in delight when Wiggle by Jason Derulo came on, earning envious stares and lustful glances when they wiggled perfectly.

Needless to say, they danced the night away, and Tristen temporarily forgot every bad thing that happened in the past forty-eight hours.
