Y/N POV

How dare she just show up here with another guy and tell me she cares about me... 'technically she said she never stopped' my wolf corrected making me roll my eyes at him 'Shut up Jake' making him growl 'She didn't say she doesn't love us so maybe we can get her to fall in love with us again' he said before I ended our connection, at this point I don't know if that is even possible, I thought to myself as I stopped pacing as I started to feel dizzy

Lexi: "Y/n are you okay?" my sister said walking into my office making me walk to my desk and take a seat placing my head in my hands "I know all of this must suck but we need her or else the elders would not bring her here" she said making me scoff

Y/n: "We have done just fine over the years and she wasn't here" I said placing my hands down "And I certainly do not need her" I said bluntly before opening the contract in front of me

Lexi: "No offense sis but you have been a mess ever since she has left and you need her whether you want to admit it or not" I looked at my sister shocked and with disbelief "Don't look at me like that, ever since she left you closed yourself off completely you never let any of the other shewolf sluts near you and you don't even go to any of your friends parties anymore" she said making me roll my eyes and pull out some papers out of my draw

Y/n: "I appreciate the love and support there sister but my life didn't only change because she left, it changed because of everything I lost that day including mom and dad" I said putting down the pen and looking up at her "And as for the sluts... I'm not one of those jerk Alphas who wants to constantly show their dominance by having sex with every shewolf in the pack" I said bluntly making her look at me shocked but quickly regained her composure "So why don't you go check on you best friend and her little boyfriend" I said making her sigh and turn to walk out the door

Lexi: "Y/n stop being so stubborn and give the girl a chance, she really does care about you Y/n even if you don't acknowledge it everyone else does and soon people will know her true value to this pack" she said before walking out closing the door behind her

LEXI POV

After I left Y/n I walked out into the woods to check out what had happen. Before Y/n came back I got notice of a fight in the forest and I figured it was Y/n letting out her anger but a few minutes after I got word that someone was brought to the hospital with a broken leg and arm

I arrived to the scene and saw a figure examining the scenery as if she was reliving what had happened, I walked up next to her and put my hand on her shoulder offering her a soft smile which she gratefully returned

Lexi: "Give her some time" I said making the girl look down fidgeting with her hands "She will come around I'm certain of it" I said once more and she let out a small laugh

Hailey: "She hates me" she said making my heart break "She wants nothing to do with me, hell she even told me to stay away and not be a distraction" she said looking around at the damage she had witness unfold

Lexi: "She hasn't seen you in eight years Hailey" I said making the blonde look over to me "You left when our parents died and that broke her even more" I said and she let out a heavy sigh "It's gonna take time before she can trust that you staying" I said a little unsure of myself "Are you staying?" I asked

Hailey: "I don't know yet" she said making me look at her confused "I mean I came here on business, I never expected her to be-" she stopped herself and took a deep breath "I just need her to trust me for this to work" she said making me look at her even more confused

Lexi: "For what to work?" I asked and she shook her head

Hailey" "It's not my place to tell" she said looking back at the ground
