Nia' and I not to long ago pulled up at the beach , it was so packed out here. There were about 3 bonfires already lit...it looked like the whole damn school could be here , but we just knew our senior class was huge.

Probably even a few kids here who didn't go to our school , just got invited by someone who did. We was still in the car , just waiting on Kentrell and his friends...Let's no forget to mention how Nia' was single now.

Mmm that " forever nigga " turned into a flop. Dumb ass was holding a baby under his belt for 9 months...well the baby mama at least. He had the nerve to call and tell her while he was at the hospital.

Nia' flipped when she found out , and y'all don't know Nia'. That bitch raised hell , she cried her tears and had her moments but she still stood on all ten. She said all she was looking forward to was college and the her new beginning

" I hope Kentrell kick yo ass you ain't grown. This lil' tight ass shit on." Nia laughed and looked over at me before going back to rolling the blunt she had in her hands.

" Girl I'm grown. I does what I want." I laughed and started to run my fingers through my curly ponytail.

" Yea' aight. You know that's your man." She said back to me and looked up at me giving me a grin. I playfully rolled my eyes and laughed.

" Whatever Nia'. Our outfits for graduation will be ready tomorrow. " I smiled and she gave me one back.

" I can't wait to wear that fit' we really put it together so bomb." Nia started to tuck the ends of the blunt , finishing and placing it between her lips.

" I'd already know what his ass would say ' Ya representing ya booyy ' ." I laughed as I mocked Abdul's voice. Nia' laughed and shook her head picking up the lighter from the empty cup holder.

" That's exactly what his dumb ass would say." Nia' laughed and started to light up the end of the blunt.

" He was so ready for graduation. Abdul would have loved this shit." I looked up and smiled as watched the crowed beach in front of us.

" If Abdul was here you think y'all would be together ? " Nia' randomly asked taking a hit from the blunt and passed it to me.

I chuckled taking it from her and shook my head. She always bought this up , for some odd reason after Abdul passed I confessed the little feelings I had for Abdul and ever since then she's been in my ear about it.

" I don't know...maybe. Honestly I saw of it more as a future type thing...somebody I wanted to be serious with. Not just a nigga to play around with you know ? " I asked her and turned my attention towards her before taking a long pull from the blunt.

" True. Either way it go y'all would have been a cute couple. " She nodded and shrugged before crossing her legs over one another. I passed the blunt back to her.

We kept the rotation going for about another 10 minutes' before I got a text. I looked down at my phone seeing it was from Kentrell. A smile came across my lips.
