The day had really came , today I was finally graduating high school. I had literally been waiting for day since the day of 9th grade , I couldn't wait to get to school in Texas and just enjoy the college life.
My dad and my Auntie Ray was in the crowd waiting on me to walk across that stage. The best part of this all was I was able to do this with my best friend...Yeah we was 2 out of 3 but we knew Abdul was proud of us.
Nia' and I stood in line , she was in front of me and I was behind her. Her last name came up before mine , it was about a few people ahead of us. Looking down at my phone , I seen a text from Kentrell had popped up across my phone screen.

Me : Thank you boo 😘

I smiled at my phone before stuffing it in the back of my black denim jeans I had on. Nia' and I had on matching outfits , the black denim jean jackets and the matching jeans. Special thing about ours jackets , they had ' Justice For Abdul ' on the back.
Making the big statements ever. I don't care , until the day I passed on I would forever show the world and tell the world about what happened to my friend. We wanted justice and until I got it I wouldn't stop speaking up for him.
" We really doing it Kye." Nia' smiled and turned around throwing her arms around me as she pulled me into a hug. I had on these heels and I nearly stumbled over my own feet.
" We grown sissss." I laughed as we rocked side to side hugging one another. As we stepped back we just stared at each other for a moment. This was such a bitter sweet moment , since school had started I had done everything with this girl.
She stuck around just like I always knew she would. Good energy...good everything. At this point she wasn't even my best friend anymore she was my sister and I was proud to call her that.
" It's your turn girly , go ahead." I laughed seeing the boy infront of her get called. She smiled and turned around.
" Tania Banks " The principal called out on the louder speaker. I instantly stared to clap and cheered her on watching her walk out form in front of the line. I could hear her mamma yelling and screaming from the crowd.
