Chapter 24: Calming Time

Liz's Pov:
Has power consumed ExplodingTNT's mind? "You can back down now, this is your last chance." I stated as I glared him down. 'You wish, I killed people before, I won't hesitate to do it again.' The words above TNT's head responded. TNT has an evil smirk on his face and his eyes are dull like a doll seems as if he isn't joking. "Alright, Ender and Seth let's do this!" I exclaimed as I looked back to see my friends. Ender and Seth both smiled and gave me a thumbs up to which I smiled back. 'Oh, I'm sorry, did you really believe that I meant everything?' The words questioned as TNT flipped through his cards. I gave him as a confused look as he pressed the card he picked and his aura was not green not red. He lifted both his hands up and large, thick vines grew. They captured Seth and Ender in their grasp which they struggled to escape. "I'll save you guys!" I yelled out as they nodded slowly. My skin burned as a fireball hit me in the stomach and threw me to the other half of the hallway. 'Keep your guard up, Lizzy. You don't wanna lose as you did with Failboat.' The words teased, amusingly. I growled and pointed my finger at him which made a lighting appear. He managed to dodge the first one and so, I kept pointing at him.

Each lightning bolt he kept dodging, I sighed as I pointed one last time. He missed his dodge and ended up getting electrocuted. 'You'll pay for that.' The words responded and he selected another card. Suddenly a gust of wind appeared and he summoned a flame in his hand. He spun one of his fingers in a circle as a tornado was being created. He blew on the fire and it got sucked into the already huge tornado. "There is no way my lightning can tame that. It'll make things hotter." I mumbled as the winds started getting warmer and ashes flew around me. I started coughing and soon, Ender and Seth joined in as they couldn't breathe much now. The tornado was heading towards me and I had zero options. I felt a liquid touch my face and I put my hand on it to feel it. I looked at my hand to see a black substance, it was sticky as well like..ink. I looked up to see Seth moving as his gigantic ink hand moved into the tornado and blocked out the heat from increasing.
"Take that!" Seth exclaimed as the ink was dripping everywhere in small and large drips.

'Uh oh...I forgot about him.' The words admitted and I could see Sam blush a light pink hue. Suddenly a large ink drop fell on him and the tornado disappeared along with the vines. Ender quickly flew by Seth to catch him and float down together safely. "You guys okay?" I asked, worried. "We're fine, Liz. Don't worry about us. But, maybe you should talk with TNT about this." Ender explained and noticed Same getting up from the ink. He was back to his normal appearance and the cards were splattered around him, he quickly grabbed them. He pocketed them as he walked over towards us and I started putting my hands in front of my friends in order to protect them. 'Calm it, redhead. I am back to normal, let's keep going.' The words ordered as TNT kept staring at me with dull eyes. "Really, you're gonna act like nothing happened?!" I exclaimed and his eyes widen from my surprising reaction. 'Please, I really don't want to talk about this.' The words said, he started to sweat. I scoffed at his response and suddenly one hand went on our shoulders.

"So, you'll talk about it privately?" Ender asked as Seth opened an empty dark room. 'That's not what I meant.' The words said yet, TNT didn't bother to look up. "Agreed!" I yelled at her but, she pushed us into the room. I got up and ran towards the door but, Seth shut it in time and locked the door. "Too late!" They said in unison, I could hear them chuckle. They're so dead when I see them again.
