The aftermath

I wake up in Josh's bed, still fully clothed, but I'm Josh's clothes. I swing me feet over the side of his bed and try to walk over the his side. I feel lightheaded and almost fall over, but I catch myself on his chair by his desk. I regain my thought a bit before I feel a rush of warmth over me. I feel him taking me back to the bed and sitting me down. I put my hand on my head and it's tender.

"You fell at the party last night..." he says in a comforting tone.

"What else happened?" I say almost gagging.

"I'll tell you when we get you over the toilet." He says with a little laugh.

He walks me over to the toilet and I lean over and puke. He's holding my hair back as he keeps talking in his soothing voice. "The minute we got to the party you wanted to start drinking. I said it wasn't a good idea, but you ended up taking a solo cup of tequila, then three more cups of vodka..." He says disappointed. "I'm sorry, I really didn't think I would get that drunk..." I say leaning my head back over the toilet. "It's all good, I was just worried about this part." He chuckles a bit while saying. I give him a glare and then puke again. "This is really awkward, I'm sorry." I say putting my head in my hands. "Emily, don't beat yourself up for this. It always happens." He says in his soothing voice once again.

He drove me home and I walked into the house still pale. My mom thought I was really sick, but then I said I just puked, but I'm fine. I didn't want to tell her about the party last night. I walk up to my room and shut the door behind me, collapsing onto my bed. It seems like two seconds before I hear a tap on the window. I'm expecting Josh, but it's Isaac. I look at him questioningly. How does he know where I live?! I go over to the window and open it up to him. He hops into my room and just says, "hey." Scratching his neck as if he's nervous. I just say, "how did you find my house?!" I get light headed again and sit back down on my bed. Isaac follows and sits next to me saying, "you have your Snapchat location on..." He sits next to me and just talks about how he's been thinking about me more often and how he just wanted to check in. It's still creepy how he came to my house, but it was kinda nice to talk to a guy besides Josh.
