Imani POV:

I looked up at the boys. Jaden looked at me and smiled. That made my heart hurt. Why would he do that to me when I didn't do anything but love him? You know what? I'm not gonna sit here and mope. I grabbed Jaden's phone and put it in my pocket. I went up to the basketball courts. After someone made a shot and the ball went through the hoop, I grabbed it and put the ball under my left arm. "What the hell Imani? Can't you see th-" Jaden started but I cut him off by putting my hand up. With my right hand, I took his phone out of my pocket and held it out. "When were you gonna tell me?" I asked in a calm voice. "Imani, you can do this shit later, but right now we-" Chresanto started, but I cut him off. "SHUT THE FUCK UP! I'M NOT IN THE FUCKING MOOD TO HEAR YOU'RE SHIT!" I screamed. Chresanto grew quiet. I turned back to Jaden. He looked confused. "Right before my birthday, too." "What are you talking about?" he asked. "The little kiss between you," I said calmly and looked in Alana's direction, "and that slut over there." He put his head down in shame. "It was an accident. I would never do that to you," he said. "Oh really? 'Cause according your texts, you went over her house to continue where you left out," I said and threw his phone at him. He caught it. "But it's not like I did. Something came up," he said. "BUT YOU WERE STILL WILLING TO DO IT!" I screamed. He stayed quiet. "I knew this shit was gonna happen again. I KNEW IT! AND IT'S 'CAUSE OF THE SAME HOMEWRECKING BITCH!" I yelled. More and more tears came down my cheek. That's when Alana came over. I walked to where she was, and with all my force, threw the ball at her face. Next thing I knew, she was on the ground, with a bloody nose, and was knocked the fuck out. "What the fuck, Imani?" Jaden yelled and pulled me away from her. "THE FUCK YOU DEFENDING HER FOR?" I screamed. I was beyond heated. "You know what? You're just like the fucking rest. Just like 'em. A lying, cheating, mother fucki-" I started but Jaden cut me off. "No I'm not and you know it!" he yelled at me. "THEN WHAT DO YOU CALL WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN YOU AND ALANA?!" I screamed. "AND THE FACT THAT YOU HAD THE NERVE TO GIVE ME THIS NECKLACE AND THIS RING? YOU PROMISED NOT TO HURT ME AND LIE TO ME! YOU PROMISED NOT TO BREAK MY HEART! ...And look what happened." He continued to grow quiet. "You can have this shit back. I don't deserve to wear it. You obviously broke your promises," I said, yanking the necklace off of my neck, and pulling the ring off of my finger. I threw it at his chest and watched it fall to the ground. "Give them to Alana," I snarled. He stared down at the jewlery, then looked up at me. He looked like he was about to cry. I turned my face away. I couldn't look him at cry. It would make it harder.  "I fell for you. And I fell hard, too. But you're just like him," I said, pointing to Chresanto. Chresanto looked down in shame. "I'm so dumb and naive," I said. "No you're not," Chresanto said. "Yes I am. Otherwise, I wouldn't have given either one of you my hearts as a door mat," I said. I started to walk away when something grasped onto my wrist. "Imani, wait," I heard Jaden say. I turned around and watched as my palm connected with his face. I had slapped him. He let go of my wrist and put his hand on his cheek, right where it was starting to get red. Damn did I really hit him that hard? "Bye Jaden, have a nice fucking life," I said, and with that, I walked out of the basketball court, and his life...

Jaden POV:

I don't know where she is. When she left, she took all of her things. And she was supposed to spend the rest of the day with me. So she's like literally missing. And it's all my fault. Me and my stupid ass. She had every right to go off on me. And slap me. I should've never messed with Alana when I already had something beautiful in my life already. I sighed as tears were threathing to spill from my eyes. She warned me, but I didn't listen. She was the best thing that happened to me since I moved here. I walked down the street, calling out Imani's name. As usual, no answer. Dammit, look what I've done.

Imani POV:

Why did I have to find out today? I should've found out when I had a ride home. Since it was in the middle of winter, it was dark outside, even though it was around 4 in the afternoon. I don't have my house keys. My mom was out with her friends. My sister was over Gayle's house with Cheyenne. They slept over Gayle's house the night before, and she was gonna be home around 7. She had the keys. That's when I got an idea. I could go over Gayle's house since it was kinda near Wall. When I arrived at her address, I knocked on the door. Gayle opened it. "Hey, Mani," she said. I heard faint screaming. Cheyenne was probably beating up my sister. "Hey, Gayle," I said. "Can I come in?" "Yeah sure," she said moving out of my way. I went down to the basement, where my sister and Cheyenne were. When I approached the doorway, I saw them rolling around on the ground. "Hey y'all," I said. They stopped what they were doing and looked in my direction. "Hey Imani," they said in unison. "No offense, but why are you here?" Cheyenne asked, getting up. "Yeah. Aren't you supposed to hang out with your boo boo Jaden all day?" Brianca asked. I looked down at the rug, as the Waterworks were about to begin. I looked up again. "He cheated on me with Alana," I said. "The same bitch how broke you and Chresanto up?" Brianca asked. I nodded. "Aw, Mani," Gayle said. Right when she said that, the tears spilled down my cheeks. "Ooh we should get that bitch back for all the shit she put you through," Brianca said. "Yeah, we should give her hell," Cheyenne said. I started laughing. They really know how to make a girl feel better. "I don't wanna ruin y'all fun. Can I have the house keys?" I asked Brianca. She handed them over to me. I said my "goodbyes" and left. When I approached home, I stormed upstairs. As I got to my room, I looked around, and I was surrounded by memories of Jaden and me. I couldn't take it anymore. I went to my desk and looked at pictures of us. I picked up one picture frame of us cuddling,  and threw it at the wall. The sound of glass breaking made me feel better. I picked up another one, and threw it at the wall. It felt so good, made me happy. After I had only one left, I stared at it. It was of us kissing. I looked at it in disgust. I picked it up and gave it a good hard throw to the wall. It smashed into a thousand pieces of glass. That was the best throw I did. Maybe when I felt like it, I'd take the the pictures and burn them. I laid on my bed and pulled the covers up. I felt my phone vibrated in my pocket. I took it out. 14 missed phone calls, from none other than the Heartbreaker himself. I put my phone on my night stand. Even though it was 5:23, I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep...
