"Hello, Tae?"
"Hmm, wae, Jen?" I sigh in relief that he finally answered his phone because I've been trying to call him for several times.
"How is the preparation for your exhibition going?"
"It's not finished yet." Tiredness is evident in his voice and that makes me worry.
"Have you eat anything yet? It's already 8 PM. Do you want me to bring you anything?" I glance at my wristwatch considering if I buy him a takeaway from one of his favorite restaurant to his location.
"No, you don't need to. Listen-" He stops talking and I hear a voice talks to him. "Tae, oh, you still on phone? I'll get back to you later then." Irene. She is one of the member from Tae's team that help with the exhibition. "No, wait. Hey, Jen, I need to hang up now. I'll call you later."
"Oh, okay. Don't forget to-" before I can finish my sentence he hang up the phone. "eat." I put my phone back to my bag. I look around to people who also waiting for the bus like me, puff of smoke come out from their breathe. It's almost the end of January and this year, the winter feels colder than in the past. The bus finally arrives, people lining up to step into the bus. I smile at the driver before I sit on one of the empty seats. 'I miss Tae, it's been 4 days since the last time I saw him.'
Kim Taehyung or Tae, as I called him, is my boyfriend. We've known each other since we were kids because my parents and his are friends but we became a couple five years ago, when we both on our last year in university. I remembered being so happy when he asked me to be his girlfriend since I've been in love with him since I was nine years old when he bought me milk ice cream to cheer me up because some kids made fun of me. Even though he was only less than a month older than me he is more mature than his age. He pursued photography because he want to become a professional photographer. For me, I chose fashion business since I've been interested in both field and I wanted to have my own fashion boutique. Both of our dreams come true. Tae is now a famous fashion photographer that was known with his film photography. He never use digital cameras for his works. He went to fashion week for documenting the backstage and also invited to the front row of several fashion brands.
Two years ago he started his first exhibition work and this exhibition will be his second one. 'V by Taehyung' exhibited all of his works that he had done for magazines, fashion weeks, and also other photos that he took. Seoul will be the last stop for his exhibition, in two days it will have soft opening for his close friends, and also people from his social circle. There will be performances from his close friends, Namjoon, Yoongi, Jimin, and Jungkook. Namjoon and Yoongi are music producers and rappers while Jimin and Jungkook are solo singers but they also released songs together. All of them are under BigHit which is one of the biggest entertainment company todate. Other than those four, there is two other people who is Tae's close friends who will come, Jin, a model who also under BigHit and Hoseok a famous dancer that just won a world championship for street dance for both solo and team. Most of them meet when they were high school year, except Jin and Namjoon who joined the group in university year.
