"Where did it go wrong, Tae?"
"What do you mean?" he furrows his eyebrows at me. "Can we talk later? I need to go to the restroom and go back to meet other people." I watch him walk away again. The music gets louder as I walk back to where my friends at. There is this frustration in my heart that I never felt before. I just need him to tell me if I did something wrong so I can fix it.
"You take a long time at bathroom, unnie." Chae says to me as I stand beside her. The guys who already finished their performance also here.
"Yeah, I'm not feeling well." I shrug my shoulder before turn away to take a glass of champagne from the waiter that passed by. "Thank you." After smiles back at me, she continue to offers other guests the champagne.
"Are you okay, Jen?" everyone in the circle focus their attention to me which makes me feel a bit uneasy.
"I'm fine, Hoseok-oppa. Seriously, I just feel light-headed earlier so I went to the restroom to calm myself. Must be the effect of oppas performances, you guys make the temperature 10 times hotter." I grin at Yoongi, Namjoon, Jungkook and Jimin. They all laugh and continue the conversation they had earlier. Everyone finally turn their attention away from me. I let out a breath and sip on my champagne. I look around for Tae to find him talking to four men at the center. He laughs at something one of the them said.
"Jen, are you listening?" I tune back to the conversation to see Jisoo looks at me.
"Hm, sorry unnie. What did you ask me?"
"Is it okay for me and Jin to go back now? He need to catch a flight tomorrow morning."
"Of course it's okay." Jisoo then hugs our friends to say goodbye while Jin just pats their shoulders. Jisoo hugs me last.
"I know what you saw earlier, don't forget to talk to him, okay? Call me if you need someone to talk to." She whispers to me, I can only nod to reply. The couple then walk to Tae, they talk for a bit with him before walk to the entrance door. I glance at my phone to see it's already 9 PM. As time passes the guests are leaving one by one, Lisa leaves first with Chae, then Hoseok with Yoongi, followed by Jimin before finally Jungkook. At the end only me and Namjoon left with the staffs.
"You know, I didn't want to ask this because asking this means I notice you're not okay, but are you okay?" Namjoon looks at me, his eyes makes me look away. He always the one who is very observant. If the girls have Jisoo, the boys have Namjoon.
"I'm fi-"
"You're not. I don't know what happened between you and Taehyung but I hope you guys can fix it. I know how much you love him, Jen." I find Tae talking to one of the cleaning staffs. 'Yeah, I do know how much I love him and how much I want to have our relationship back as it used to, but I don't know what's wrong with me that makes Tae drift away.' "Jen. You're okay?" I snap back to reality, Namjoon put his hand on my shoulder.
