The next morning was quite hectic since mom always made our breakfast and here we were no mom just us and dad. Dad was busy so we took the bus. I sat by Alex as always and he gave me
my phone.
"Your phone is pretty hard to unlock"
" what were  you searching in my phone"
"Proof that you and Max are going out" he smiled.
"Wait what, you think that i and Max are dating" i laughed hard enough for the whole bus to hear. "  Hey, everyone at the party saw you two kissing and missy you are in big trouble" he said. I was shocked by what i was now hearing.
" why am i in trouble"
"Didnt Max tell you, he had a gf" he continued.
"Yeah i know that" i tucked my hair behind my ear. I  was regretting why i curled my hair today.
"Well his gf still loves him and she will kill you after what happened." He added.

I literally had no other choice but to face her. Why does trouble always follow me.
We got to school and everyone looked at me. I had a feeling this would be a long day. I walked to my locker when some other blonde girl walked up to me. I was guessing it was Max's ex. I knew she would come threaten me and well thats all she did. She must have been pretty mean to others since evryone just moved when she passed by them. "Listen b* i dont want to see you anywhere close to Max or I......" she snaped.I  was already bored with our conversation and her attitude. "Or you will What blondy? Make my life miserable " i snapped back. "Actually you know What blondy my life is already miserable so let's save us all the drama and get a life. Max doesn't like you anyway." I continued. "Urg........" She flipped her hair and left. The crowd that was gathering dismissed when she left.
I closed my locker and went for lunch. What did Max even see in her.At lunch i walked with Fridah to the cafetiria and she asked if it was true that i was now going out with Max. "Ew no" i flipped my hair as we walked to our table.
"Lu," i had a farmiliar voice calling me. I turned to see Brian and well i was abit excited to see him.
"Can i talk to you"
"Yeah"
"I was wondering if you would like to um....go out with me tonight " he asked rubbing his neck. He was literally  the best thing that happened to me that day.
"Sure pick me up at 7"
i kissed his cheek as i went to my table.
"what was all that about"  Leighna asked.
"He was just asking me out" i answered glancing at Max who seemed not to be comfortable with it.
"Not that, that i already predicted. I meant with Barbie at the hallway." She said biting an Apple.
"The expected" I said trying not to look at Max.  They all bursted into laughter and  Desi congratulated me and after lunch alex and i went to art class.
"Lu you are really hard to get"
"Why" i asked as i removed my items. "Who are you going out with Max or Brian" he asked weighing the chances of both.
I smiled at him and the lesson began. I couldnt stop thinking of my weekend with Max and how he made me feel. But it all seemed like a hallucination  since it was all over. Plus i didnt want any shit with some barbie girl over a guy.
Today Blain walked me home and i have to admit i really missed his company. "Blain, can i ask you something?"
"What is it siz" he unplugged his headphones.
" to be honest i dont know"
"Is it about Max and that Brian guy" he smirked.
"Yeah"
"Wow i have never heard of Luoise Stein have boy trouble "
"I know"I chuckled.
"Spend time with them find the one who makes you feel things you thought you could never feel."
We got home early enough and found Cindy asleep. I carried her to her room and prepared for my date. "Where are you going Lu" dad asked.
"I am going out with a friend" i said grabbing my bag.
"And who is this friend" he asked.
"Brian" just as i mentioned his name, the doorbell rang and he stood there looking attractive as always. Dad came to greet him and reminded us to use protection."Dad " i cried. He winked and i could hear Brian chuckle under his breathe. "Where are you taking me" i asked as he started his engine.
"You'll see" he grinned. He sort of reminded me of Max and his........ no no more thinking of Max.
